I went to Dr. Pontell this winter and my experience was amazing! He made sure I understood my options and always made me feel comfortable in the process. My result is amazing and I am more than happy with it! I would recommend going to Dr. Pontell to all my friends. Thank you Dr. Pontell!

I have been a patient of Dr. Pontell for almost 25 years. I have had all types of injections, procedures and even a hair transplant, which I highly recommend. My hair is fuller and am no longer self conscious. Most recently I had a face and neck lift along with some fraxel laser around my eyes and mouth. I am beyond overjoyed. There was very little pain and didn't need any assistance after the second day. The staff at both the surgery center was awesome. They were beyond professional and very accommodating. Same for the staff at the office. My friends call me 2.0 now. I would recommend Dr. Pontell for any procedure of any kind. On a scale of one to ten he is a fifteen. I am a patient for life. Oh and bonus points for helping me quit smoking. Dr P told me no nicotine of any kind for a month before and a month after my procedure because it impedes healing. I have been smoke free since late December.

This surgery ruined my life. Please don’t go to him. Completely destroyed my mental health & my confidence. Worst mistake I ever made in my entire life. I wouldn’t wish this on my worst enemy. Just to reiterate, this RUINED MY LIFE. Have rhinoplasty here if you desire to destroy the structure of your nose & plan to pay an extra 30k for a revision surgery. Pontell will push additional procedures on you (such as a chin implant, which was also a complete mess) and will lie/ deceive patients to earn more $$. After my primary rhinoplasty, my dorsal lines were completely obliterated & my nose bridge looked flat and wide. Once the swelling dissipated, the tip looked both flat & pinched, the bridge was entirely washed out, and shadows appeared on my nose in photos (Inverted V-deformity and open roof deformity). I have no idea why the surgeon didn't perform an osteotomy when they shaved down a dorsal hump. I had ZERO bruising after surgery and the bridge of my nose looks flat/ wide as a result. Undergoing rhinoplasty is one of the biggest regrets of my life. I should have gone on more than one consult or travelled to California to see a skilled/ experienced surgeon instead. I wish I'd had a closed rhinoplasty too. Ideally I would just have my original nose back. I am having jaw surgery soon, and now my nose will probably look even wider. So if you love the look of flat noses and washed out bridges.... then go to this surgeon.

I had a rhinoplasty in December 2022 and Dr. Pontell did an AMAZING job. He created a nose that was natural looking and helped me breathe better at the same time. His staff took great care of me and he is very attentive and made sure to answer any questions I had.

I went to Dr Pontell around a decade ago for a rhinoplasty and a lip lift. He has a natural gift of assessing each client to perfect their facial features. It’s a decade later and I’m not happy with subpar lip filler I had a year ago from another doctor. Long story short I’m back to doctor Pontell to dissolve my filler and get a lip lift. Dr Pontell is the best facial plastic surgeon in the Philadelphia area IMO and the only one who I trust my face with.

I had the pleasure of working with Dr. Pontell for my recent septo/rhinoplasty procedure, and I am extremely happy with the results. Not only do I now have a great appearance, but I am also able to breathe better than ever before. From my first consultation with Dr. Pontell, I knew that I was in good hands. He took the time to listen to my concerns and goals for the procedure, and helped me to understand what could realistically be achieved. After the surgery, I was amazed by how quickly my nose healed. The recovery process was much easier than I expected, and I was able to return to my normal activities in no time. But the real joy came when I saw the results of the surgery. My nose not only looks great, but it is now functioning better than ever before. I am able to breathe much easier, which has truly made a huge difference in my day-to-day life. Overall, I cannot recommend Dr. Pontell highly enough.

Dr. Pontell was great. I researched surgeons for over a year, looking for a surgeon who’s results I really loved. Dr. Pontell did a great job on my rhinoplasty. My profile is perfect. I had to have a graft put in to even out one side which I was nervous about, but my nose was perfectly straight when I came out of surgery. I was having allergic reactions after the surgery and he was so attentive and made time in his schedule immediately to see me for multiple appointments. The front desk staff is also super sweet! Highly recommend!

I had mixed results from a revision rhinoplasty and after 4 - 5 follow ups during which I tried to convey my dissatisfaction and he insisted it was fine, I would not recommend him for rhinoplasty. I’m sooooo happy and thrilled every time I look in a mirror. Dr. Pontell does amazing work with very natural results. I had a lower face/neck lift in mid November -- two months later and I look fabulous and so much younger! I wanted to look better but I never expected to look this great! He did an awesome job. I broke my nose when I was younger and had been self conscious of it my whole life and the way my nose looked. I was very nervous of who to pick for a rhino/septo plasty, and decided to go with Dr. Pontell because of all the great reviews. I couldn’t be happier so far with the result. I am 7 months in, and I feel much more confident. To recap He was very friendly and his staff was as well Everything was explained to me in detail so I wasn’t left questioning. I could call and ask questions at any time Recovery It wasn’t as bad as I thought. The 2nd and 3rd day gave me the most pain but the remaining recovery process wasn’t nearly as bad. Getting the cast off made me a little sore but felt good when it was off. Getting my stitches out was the most painful of all, but I’m also not good with pain so it could just be my pain tolerance. But Dr. Pontell was very careful to try and make sure it didn’t hurt me as much. Overall I am 7 months in, and so far I am happy I got the surgery! Thank God it came out just about perfect because I was so nervous! I still have some swelling of course but so far everything was worth it. I have been going to see Dr. Pontell since 2016 for fillers, and for 6 years straight he has made me nothing less than happy and confident. He has never, ever overdone my filler. I have it placed all over - cheekbones, nose bridge, chin, lips. No one would ever know because he is so precise, conservative, and does just enough to enhance my natural features without making it obvious that I have filler placed. He is talented, kind, professional, and I trust him completely. His staff is wonderful as well. I will continue seeing Dr. Pontell for years to come.

Had a mini facelift. Easy office procedure. Results were amazing and natural.

I had revision rhinoplasty and Dr Pontell was so great to work with. He corrected a bump from a break and also cartilage bumps. It looks so natural now.

Dr. Pontell performed a rhinoplasty on me and I had the best experience with him! I felt heard and understood, and I was given everything I expected and a million times more. My surgery personally went extremely smooth and recovery was consistent,y monitored which made me feel better. Would do it a thousand times again! After being turned down by multiple doctors for my rhino/septo surgery, I found Dr. Pontell. He had no hesitation and great vision for what he could be able to do to help my nose. I've had breathing issues for a long time with a crooked nose and multiple deviations. I had two requests, I want to breathe and I want my nose as small as you can get it. Based on how bad my situation was I wasn't expecting great results but I figured what ever he accomplished would be better then my current situation. Dr. Pontell exceeded all expectations. I'm two months out of surgery and my nose is straight, feels strong and most of all I can breathe normally again! I can't thank him enough! He has tons of experience and has over 4000 nose related operations In his resume. This made me feel at ease if we happened to run into complications. I recently had Ultherapy done with Dr. Pontell. I'll start off by saying the staff is wonderful. they made the experience so nice from beginning till the end. I’m very satisfied and I would recommend him for sure but he does always seem hurried. His staff is great but the schedule was almost always wrong when reminders are sent. I had to call in several times to see if I should come in at the different time I was sent or the one I actually scheduled. For me it wasn’t that big a deal but for people with children or employment it would be a inconvenience.

Dr. Pontell and his team provided excellent care and the results were better than expected. I would highly recommend him for any needed facial surgery.

Dr. Pontell did an excellent job on my rhinoplasty revision. I previously had rhinoplasty 14 years ago which left the tip of my nose a bulky, distorted mess and with a deviated septum. I was specifically looking for a facial plastic surgeon and it was either between Dr. Pontell or another surgeon in NYC. I chose Dr. Pontell due to his experience with revisions and his before and after photos. I spent a lot of time looking at different surgeon's before and after photos. It's plainly obvious in looking at Dr. Pontell's photos, that he is a very talented surgeon. At my consultation he used photo simulation to give an idea of what my nose could look like. After completing the surgery, Dr. Pontell has far surpassed my expectations. I'm just about 5 weeks post op. My nose looks better than the images he rendered and I can also breathe through my left nostril for the first time in 14 years. My nose is now straight, the tip is fixed and centered on my face. My nose finally looks natural and compliments the rest of my face. I knew my nose would be difficult to fix, but I could not have chosen a more skilled surgeon than Dr. Pontell to do this revision. The entire process went very smoothly. The office staff are all wonderful. I can't say enough good things about the staff at the surgery center as well, they always made sure I was comfortable. I underwent a rhinoplasty procedure and it has been about 4 months since my procedure and I am more than happy with the results. The process of scheduling all the way through to recovery went smoothly and Dr Pontell and staff were always available for help and/or questions as needed. I feel as though Dr Pontell is very thorough and my results are natural and exactly what I was looking for. I have already referred people thinking about plastics to Dr Pontell as I am certain they would be pleased with their results as well!

Dr. Pontell performed my rhinoplasty in 2018 and I was thrilled with the results. However, my very loving but rambunctious 8 yr old son broke my nose while I was kissing his head a year after the surgery. The break resulted in several noticeable dents on the bridge of my nose. I consulted with Dr. Pontell and we decided to try filler to help restore the look from the surgery. I could not be more happy results! I wasn't trying to achieve anything cosmetically, just straighten and strengthen the septum. Three months post op, after voicing my concerns that my nose was still very congested and running way more than ever before, Dr. Pontell told me that I had allergies. When I mentioned the outside of the septum looked the same/crooked he said I could have revision surgery. This shocked me as I just had the original surgery 3 months prior. Why would I have another surgery again right after the original one? Shouldn't that have been done correctly the first time? Two years later, I feel congested all the time and now my nose is running constantly, literally dripping as I run to grab a tissue. I got a mini facelift and submetal liposuction by Dr Jonathan Pontell exactly 2 weeks ago and I couldn't be happier. Being myself a physician I am also a difficult to please person regarding high expectations standards for my medical care but I should said I am impressed for the care I have received. It took for me many years of planning to get to the right moment to do these procedures due to my hectic schedule, I used this time for extensive research about who will the best Board Certified Facial Plastic Surgeon that I can trust my face to. I am now 6 months post operation, and I could not be happier with my results from my rhinoplasty. My swelling has mostly subsided, with minor inflammation at the tip of my nose. From start to finish, Dr. Pontell and his wonderful team have been so knowledgeable, supportive, and have gone above and beyond in all their efforts. I would highly recommend Dr. Pontell to anyone and everyone, I can not say enough positive things about him and his office! **Update 1 year later** I recently received a chin augmentation with Dr. Pontell. All of his before and after photos were better than everyone else's. He is always on time and never has you waiting like some doctors do. After meeting with him, I knew he was the right surgeon. Dr. Jonathan Pontell is by far the greatest plastic surgeon in Pennsylvania. Right before surgery, the pre-op nurse told me that I chose the best doctor I could have. The recovery was surprisingly easy considering the amount of work that was done. I had no pain, just a bit of discomfort. Dr. Pontell is an amazing surgeon. When I initially got my consultation for my rhinoplasty I was nervous because I did not know what to expect for results and with his computer imaging he really took his time to plan out what I wanted. Being in the plastic surgery industry myself, I did a lot of research and was very picky with respect to choosing a surgeon for my rhinoplasty. Though many surgeons achieve IG fame, with my experience, I've learned that most, if not all of what is posted, is just a show. Dr. Pontell had hundreds of before and afters on his website and his reviews were great so I decided to make an appointment. My consult was with him for one hour. No coordinators, receptionists, PAs/MAs, just him. He did a photo simulation with me to show me his intentions for my surgical result and was very realistic with me. I knew that this was a doctor who knew what he was doing. His staff was great and the surgery center staff was wonderful. Immediately after taking my bandage off, my nose was so swollen and I'll admit, I was nervous. Dr. Pontell was cool and confident and he assured me that it was just swelling. He was absolutely right. I told staff I'd like a video consult as I'm out of state and after all, amidst COVID-19 most offices have this option. After numerous back and forth calls/emails they couldn't seem to figure out Skype and said well he has your pictures he can just call. I mentioned I preferred video over phone and they kept reminding he had my pictures. I wonder if they even considered there is a critical need for rapport and trust with patient-Dr. relationship, which would be better acvieved via face to face conversation even it is video rather than just phone. He called and had a pleasant tone but I mentioned I preferred video, but I don't have Facetime, he said well he has my pictures, it was awkward. He was abrupt and started out with "So what questions do you have?" rather than providing his plan of action and a guidance through his process. Throughout conversation had sarcastic comments, not sure if it was his humor but was off-putting and condescending. Definitely will not be back if even a video consult could be figured out as bedside manner is very uncomfortable. At least made my decision easy.
