I want to thank Dr. Rixen and his medical staff for the excellent care I received during and following eye surgery. I was informed of everything to expect before, during, and following surgery. Dr. Rixen answered every question I asked. I was very much satisfied with the care I received.

Communication, education about the surgery & consultation with the nurse before my surgery made me feel very comfortable. You were greeted the minute you arrived and handed off to each person in the team until you were escorted back to your driver. Their staff was friendly, caring & highly trained. Intentionality & comraderee of the team was highly evident. Dr Rixen's followup was also very helpful.

Dr Rixen did a great job. The nursing staff that was assigned to me during the procedure we great. This was my first eye for the procedure and I am scheduled for the other in a couple of weeks. I can only hope I get the same nursing staff as I don’t have a doubt I will be treated the same way! I would recommend anyone needing eye procedures of any kind to reach out to Eye Surgical Associates.

My husband saw him today and reported "never have I been treated like a piece of meat before." He was rushed and impersonal.

They saved my son's eye!! I can't say enough good things about them, from doctors to staff our experience has been absolutely wonderful through this journey! Everyone was so knowledgeable, friendly and willing to help with anything they could. In my opinion they are the absolute best around! We can't thank you all enough!!

Dr. Wood is caring, patient, and clear. I experienced a traumatic eye injury which has resulted in many issues including a torn retina and cataracts. He removed the cataract and was very careful to keep an extra watch over my recovery due to my injuries. He always made me feel like I had a voice and that my concerns were heard, respected and valued. He was also excited for my continued recovery.i cannot thank him and the staff. Dr. Rixen performed cataract surgery on me last fall. I've had more vision problems since the surgery than I ever had before. Is cataract surgery simply the latest fad? Right now, I'm not sure I even needed the surgery to begin with. Another eye doctor recently told me I have scar tissue from the surgery that could be affecting my vision.
