Best orthopedist I have ever met. I don't mind driving more than 30 miles if I'm sure I'm going to have a nice visit. He is friendly and takes the time to explain and answer all your questions.

I had a great first visit with Dr. Velez yesterday. Thankfully, Dr. Velez epitomizes the high professional standards I have experienced at Kelsey and I have come to expect. With that, Dr. Velez is exceptional!

Dr Velez is always a professional his manner is extremely personable , welcoming, friendly and accommodating his team are as well . He makes a unpleasant procedure comfortable which I appreciate tremendously. I’m grateful he’s my Doctor .

Dr. Velez was thorough, good bedside manner, looked me in the eyes, personable, made me comfortable, explained x-ray, my condition, treatment plan, referal to spine doctor.

Hello???????? Dr. Jorge Velez, by now everyone knows that I have a GREAT fear of needles, initially I didn’t know I would need an injection so the nurse brought me in and did her assessment, very kind & sweet young lady great sense of humor. The doctor came in to get something for another patient and he said “I’ll be right back to see you in a moment Mrs. Hillard” and I stated just as long as you take that needle and leave it in the room with that other patient and don’t come in here talking about giving me a shot he laughed and he said again I’ll be right back. But unfortunately I needed one and he did not pressure me but he just gave me the knowledge of his profession in such a kind way that convinced me to allow him to inject me so that I would feel better. And after weighting my options I decided he was right my thoughts and fears had overtaken me it wasn’t bad at all nor was it painful as I expected he has a great personality and very knowledgeable of his profession they were extremely busy but it did not take away from the level of Care that was provided. I cannot stop complementing the nurses the doctors on their professionalism, their kindness, their compassion, they make me feel like I’m Royalty or something. I know being a woman of God, God have graced me with favor on my life. But nevertheless people do not have to be kind… so I don’t take it for granted the kindness that have been afforded to me doing this hard time in my life. So given him a five star is not generous enough they deserve a 10star Kelsey Seybold clinic staff deserve a 10 star rating thank you so much for taking the opportunity to read my experience and I pray that it will encourage someone else to voice their HIGH opinion..God bless Hello???????? Dr Velez is the absolute BEST. I have gone to him for an ankle, knee, and a shoulder problem, and every time he has come up with solutions. He listens to questions, and provides solid answers that are in the patients best interest. Dr. Velez is an asset to Kelsey Seybold.

Dr. Velez has a wonderful upbeat personality! His thorough explanation and comical conversation kept my mind off the pain of the procedure I was seeing him for. Will definitely continue my visits to him!

Dr. Valez is very informative and has great bedside manners.

Dr. Jorge Velez was very attentive and actually listened to me. He examined the source of my pain and included me in the decision making process to treat my pain and my arthritis. He explained what was happening to my body and made a suggested treatment and sincerely wanted my input and opinion.

I really liked Him. I had seen another doctor several weeks before that didn’t listen, which cost me an additional 2 weeks of pain, but luckily his nurse did and got me this consult. Dr Velez listened to my concerns, came up with a treatment plan. By the next day I was able to walk upright and slept soundly for the first time in a month. I’m truly grateful for what he did I really liked Him. Dr. Jorge Velez was easy to communicate with. He ask questions in a way that I could easily understand and respond to. He seemed to understand my problems and offered easy solutions for me to follow. He is very professional. I highly recommend him!

I had an tele appointment this morning at 8:30. I was ready at 8:15 and had some issues with the plug-in. I called support and they were very cordially able to get me to log on with my phone in time for my 8:30 I was waiting for the doctor from 8:30 till 8:59 before trying to call the nurse. That was a waste of my time and i am very disappointed that the doctors office did not have the courtesy to inform me that he was running late. Finally when i spoke to someone they asked me to hold on as the doctor is running late ... wait indefinitely I really don’t think it is acceptable for someone to be on hold without any update for an online meeting. My time is very precious too. Why was i even given an appointment time if you can not respect that! That was a waste of 50 minutes of my time! Very disappointed! What is worse is that i see no message or apology from the doctor or his staff. Now I will have to find another doctor and wait for my appointment while i continue to be in pain. Doctor Valez is thorough and explains your x-rays and talks you through the proceedure you need to get pain relief. He also informed me I could have the proceedure done every four months so I did not have to wait so long.

Straight from the door , rn is taking me to diagnostic X-ray room. I asked why? She said Dr wanted that before he even sees me? What? I never met him, he never saw me, never even introduced himself, I’m not even talking about evaluation before going for diagnostics and etc. I was shocked. Professional, courteous, talks with you as a person, asks questions that show interest in determining the patient's needs...and explains thoroughly the treatment, allows questions. Gets to the task with enthusiasm. Totally awesome doctor! I recommend him EVERY chance I get.

I like everything about Dr. Velez! He is always quite professional, listens to your concerns and then tries to come to the best solution for your needs at the time of your visit. He has been a lifesaver to me for the last 3-5 years! He has been spot on the last three visits. Last year he discovered I had gout. He referred me to a rheumatologist and this last month he gave me a possible solution to the recent upper arm muscle and shoulder pain that I suffered with for over 8 weeks. He said it possibly was my rotator cuff and it was inflamed. He gave me a steroid injection which relieved my pain within 24 hrs. Two other doctors never addressed my pain problems leaving me very disappointed and questioning why I went to them. I'm very glad I reached out by via e-mail under "My Kelsey" to Dr. Velez. His nurse came in to ask preliminary questions about my daughter's wrist and after we waited for about 20-30 minutes Dr. Velez came in and asked the same questions. He never introduced himself and I was left wondering who he was. It wasn't until I was able to read his name on his white coat (after he took my daughter away for an x-ray) that I figured out he was the doctor I came to see. My visit was basically him taking an x-ray, reading it, and making a referral to a sports rehab facility.
