We went to the hospital under normal circumstances. The pressure that he and the nursing staff put on us to have an immediate c section was terrible. He turned what was supposed to be a happy event into a emotionally traumatic nightmare. Being under his "care" has been the worst experience of our lives.

Fantastic experience with Crown OBGYN!

Dr b was then on call doc in the hospitsl when I needed an emergency c section and I thank god for him. He held my hand and was the nicest most compassionate doctor I have ever met. And I'm a nurse...I meet a lot of doctors!

I have 6 children. The first 5 were born in Michigan and I was fortunate to have amazing OBs for each of them. And then we moved to Minnesota. I needed an OBGYN for medical issues not related to pregnancy. Dr. Burroughs at Crown OBGYN was recommended. I really liked him and his staff were/are all so kind and such a pleasure to be around. It wasn’t until my pregnancy with my 6th baby, though, that I realized just how amazing everyone at Crown was, especially Dr. Burroughs. None of my previous OBs compare, and they were all pretty great. My baby was born in September 2017 and he is our last. It truly makes me sad that I won’t experience another pregnancy with Dr. B as my OB. He is the absolute best. So kind, caring, compassionate, thorough, and when I ended up with some complications he made sure all bases were covered and made me feel as if my baby and I were his top priority. He kept the serious parts calm. On top of that, he’s quite funny. I miss my regular visits at Crown. It’s a comfortable place to be with a lovely and fun staff. As far as birth, it’s nice knowing the doctor you’ve grown comfortable with is the one who will deliver your baby. I have 6 children. I can't say enough great things about Dr. Burroughs and his staff. I started out my pregnancy with the Healtheast practice and one of their family doctors. After my pregnancy became more complicated and things that should have been followed up on weren't, I ended up scrambling for a new Dr at almost 32 weeks. I posted in the Facebook group Mama Talk Twin Cities asking for opinions on best metro doc who could deal with higher risk pregnancy and who delivers at woodwinds; Dr Burroughs by far received the most recommendations (over 20). He took the time to listen, and didn't scoff when I questioned that I may have something I only read about online- he agreed to run the labs and after it came back positive he did everything as was recommended to get our baby out safely and within a safe timeline. My c-section delivery was a much better experience than I could have hoped for, and my incision is healing up better (and better looking) than I or anyone predicted. Our daughter came out absolutely perfect. Dr. Burroughs also came and visited us in the hospital twice a day to check on things and never left the room without asking if he could get us anything. His staff of nurses are amazing also, huge thank you to Brittany and Aubrey - they are such kind women with huge hearts who really take the time to listen. They also make the time in NST's feel more like you're hanging out with a buddy then getting monitored. And I was constantly told to never hesitate if I had any questions or wanted to talk- these are great women to have available even if you don't end up needing to call. The massage chair should also get a shout out, and make sure to ask that they turn on the foot rollers... You'll thank me later. It's nice when you go to the Dr's office and they know you by first name basis. Dr.Burroughs is the Doctor you will see through your pregnancy and he will be the one at your birth. No Russian roulette on what doctor is on call when you go into labor. He's the only one that is there. Had to call a couple of times on off hours and I never felt like I was bothering him. He's very patient and he has a caring and kind staff. When I was in the hospital his nurse heard I was there and stopped in to say hello and check up on me. Their patients matter to them. I would recommend this Doctor and his staff to anyone woman looking for a good woman's doctor to see. It's nice when you go to the Dr's office and they know you by first name basis. When we became pregnant it was very important for us to find a doctor who would provide us with continuity of care. Dr. Burroughs did that and more. He truly gets to know his patients, he doesn't rush them through appointments, and he makes them feel like the decisions he makes mean just as much to him as they do to you and your family. His staff is very friendly and work hard to build a relationship with you as well. Our twin pregnancy would have been much more stressful without having such a trustworthy doctor guiding us through it. You will not find a better OBGYN then Dr. Burroughs. Out of 6 pregnancies (5 of which were in Michigan with amazing OBs), Dr. Burroughs is by far the best OB I’ve ever had. Prior to my 6th pregnancy, I needed a gynecologist for medical reasons unrelated to pregnancy and he was wonderful. But he takes the cake in pregnancy/delivery. He’s patient, calm, compassionate, well educated, kind, and respectful. When I ended up with some complications in my pregnancy he made me feel as though my baby and I were top priority. His staff is awesome, too!

I am confident had I had a textbook twin pregnancy, he would’ve been a fantastic doctor. I unfortunately did not have a textbook pregnancy. I lost one baby right before 8 weeks and the remaining twin was diagnosed with a fatal condition and passed away at 16 weeks. I felt like I was alone and unwelcome towards the end when we knew that the pregnancy wasn’t going to continue for much longer. I’m sure he is a fantastic doctor in good circumstances but he was not the best for me in my circumstances

I have been a patient of dr. Burroughs for two pregnancies and thought he was the best obgyn I have ever had. He was patient, listened to all my concerns, and was always available by phone )Day, night, and returned my calls on the weekends). He was very skilled in monitoring my thyroid levels with hypothyroidism and also hoshmotos disease by checking my levels frequently. I never had to wait for appointments, he was always on time and respectful. I highly recommend him as a obgyn.

I would recommend any Woman who has a history of thyroid problems and a autoimmune disease (Hashimoto's,). DO NOT VISIT Jory Burroughs. My wife has been a patient of his for 4 years, and has never once thought it mighht be a good idea to look into pregnancy and thyroid/Hashimotos. You would think if a Dr has his patients best interest in mind he might research a little bit and learn of a patients condition. Says he's high risk. Yup if your a thyroid Hashi sufferer he's definitely a risk to go to

The last doctor I went to told me it would be very difficult to get pregnant. A few months later I found Dr. Burroughs and he turned everything around! He took the time to listen to my concerns and with his help I was pregnant within a couple of months! He and his staff were amazing through my pregnancy-I wouldn't change a thing about my experience. They were very helpful and I never had to wait more than 5 minutes for an appointment!, which I had never experienced before!

Dr. Burroughs has been my OB/GYN for the past 8 years. The care I receive from Dr. Burroughs and his amazing staff is excellent! I feel that he often goes out of his way to provide the best care to his patients. He seems to always be available for questions or concerns and I so appreciate never feeling as though I am bothering him when I call to ask a question. I have recommended Dr Burroughs to many friends and family as well. The staff at Crown are kind, caring and always helpful and happy to see you! This is not a 'cookie cutter' OB/GYN clinic. If you are looking for an OB/GYN that will always remember your story, take the time to listen to you, be there throughout your pregnancy and delivery and follow your GYN health through the years this is it! Dr. Burroughs and the staff at Crown OB-GYN are great. As a first time pregnancy/parent, I found the staff to be very thorough. They took the time to educate me on what was happening with my pregnancy and babies. I ended up having twins and what I perceived to be a rough pregnancy although the staff was there to support me above and beyond (an example being that I had issues with dehydration during the first trimester. When I received IV fluids in the hospital he always came to the hospital to touch base and check in. He may or may not have already been going there but it meant a lot that he took the time and cared!). The care I received was customized to me and everyone at the clinic knew me on a first name basis. On an after hours basis Dr. Burroughs and staff were available at all times for contact. I would recommend Crown OB-GYN to all my pregnant friends and family and I will continue my women's health care at Crown. Also, it was very fun getting to know the staff. After my girls were born, I felt that the staff was genuinely excited to see them. The clinic has a small town personal feel that is rare in the TC's!
