I’ve been going to Dr. Marcal for the last 15 or more years. Dr Marcal is extraordinarily compassionate, kind and very professional. Great doctor

Dr Marcel. Has been my doctor for 30 years. he is very kind. gentle Doctor . i have my colonoscopy more frequently because of my condition . Dr Marcel puts you at ease. Much Appreciated

Very minimal explanation of results. Didn't even see dr Marcal after procedure and nurse gave answers that made no sense.

Very Poor. Overcharged, billed for services that were not provided and duplicate billed aka: Double dipping , pure incompetence and very spotty service. Lost medical records. Ignored recommendations of prior providers, lost personal property, billed for tests that were never given, very, very aggressive collections department, and very unresponsive and evasive to questions. In addition my examination was flawed due to their negligence and they requested additional, duplicate procedures that they themselves created at considerable cost. Never again.

Outstanding Doctor with Lots of experience. Saved my life!

Dr. Marcal had the misfortune to help me deal with multiple flare-ups of Ulcerative Colitis over the years. He and his practice helped me to recover from the flare-ups and work through to my final outcome of this nasty disease

Dr. Marcel is the kindest and most considerate Doctor especially for someone who was scared to death to face a colonoscopy. The minute you hear his voice right before the procedure you calm right down. He is thorough and explains everything in depth. His office staff Pat and Sandra are great. Dr Marcal has been my doctor for almost 32 years and I have nothing but the utmost praise for him. I'm sure it is hard for anyone to have gastro-intestinal issues but if you do, Dr Marcal is the person I would want doing the exam. He has remarkable ability to relate to patient & family and exhibits a compassionate presence. I have referred friends and family to him with excellent results!

This week I was admitted into Winchester Hospital for gastrointestinal issues. During my stay I had (2) procedures under his care. My overall experience was negative. I found him to be completely unprofessional. While in his care, I felt he didn't actively listen to my concerns but rather dismissed them. No bedside manner at all. I was spoken down to when I asked questions about my health. Being admitted I was shocked by the lack of communication between staff and patient.

The Doctor woke me up during my colonoscopy to questions. Then he was hostile when I answered. I felt violated and attacked. I would not trust him.
