Josephine Mante

I have been with Dr. Josephine Mante for a number of years and I can say she is a very real, good and personal Dr.. She take time to explain to you about your test results; all the way to explaining and helping you with whatever issue or are conditions you are going through. Some patient may complain for the time wait but believe me it is worth it because she's not one to rush you in and out She takes time to get to know you and your health, most Dr's now days don't do that. Her staff is friendly and caring especially Connie, who always ask how you and your family are. I love going to Dr. Mante and would recommend her to anyone. The 4 stars is because the office is not good and slow at getting back to you.

Dr. Jospehine Mante was my physician. I was not impressed by this Dr or Assistants at all. I was initially greeted by Joan who was not friendly or welcoming at all. The 1st appt with Dr Mante, was my initial appt, I waited for more than 1hr in both the waiting room and in the room. She was friendly, but only wanted to "talk" to get to know me. I am not paying her for that, so I was quite frustrated. I needed prescriptions refilled and she reluctantly did that until blood work could be done. Then, even more frustrating, she could not do blood work in her office. This Dr. specializes in Diabetics and she can not even acquire your A1C. So I had to schedule another appt, pay to go to Quest for blood work, then again, schedule another appointment with her. I would not recommend her as a physician. She does not seem to have the up to date equipment to get things on track. I have called the office a few times always speaking to Joan who has not been helpful and always seems to give me the run around to get things scheduled and done. I have been a diabetic for over 15 years, and have had my share of experiences in Drs offices and this one, I have to say is the worst. It is a waste of time to come here, there are many more advanced physicians and facilities that can get your health back on track. I would not recommend this place. Very nice but slow. Books several patients at once and keeps you waiting over am half hour every time..

Dr Josephine Mante is a wonderful primary care doctor. She's very thoughtful, thorough, informative and professional. You want your primary care physician to possess all these good qualities. Her assistant nurse is very personable too. The only minus from this medical office is the receptionist, Joan. She might be a good person, but with the position she holds (she is the front line representation of the medical office). In my opinion, she's not the right one to be there. She doesn't have any customer service skills. no personality what so ever, in person or on the phone. According to the good doctor, she's been with her for a long time.
