Dr. DeCastro is a kind and compassionate physician who take the time to understand patient concerns. She is an excellent diagnostician who made my initial cancer diagnosis and then referred me to a team of specialists to enable my full recovery. I trust Dr. DeCastro because she always takes good care of me! I travel many miles to see her because she is awesome!

She is a very charming and comfortable to be around and caring person. More important she is diligent about taking care of your medical needs.

I waited an hour for my first visit from the original time of appt in the exam room, explained all my symptoms, once she was in she was great asked a lot of questions seemed concerned told me to get some tests done. I told her that I was losing my hair, had trouble sleeping, exhaustion, diarrhea for a few months, headaches, stomach aches. After I took the tests I received the results a week later. She said I had hypothyroid which is causing all that along with vitamin d deficiency and recommended a oncologist and a colon doctor. She also prescribed me some meds which has helped a little with the exhaustion. I explained to her and her staff that I was still have the diarrhea daily several times a day and exhaustion during the time of my follow up visit she was supportive but when I asked them to fill out my FMLA & disability paperwork they refused. I have been out of work and they still refused to fill out my STD paperwork. Her front staff is not friendly, not helpful.

I am a new patient of Dr. DeCastro. I had a quick onset of a lot of mysterious symptoms, originating from stress. She has given me close personal attention and I am impressed with her efficiency. Within days I had 26 labs ordered, a mammogram, a biopsy, chest and hip x-rays, and follow-ups from her. I had to call after hours with a concern and she stayed on the phone with me for a long time, making sure that I was OK and rushed out a prescription to my nearby pharmacy, then met me in her office the next morning at 7:45AM to examine me personally! She has the perfect mix of ease with and concern for her patients. Her staff told me that she worked throughout the night, sending them (and the hospital) messages about my case. At the hospital, the physicians there commented on how thorough a job she is doing and mentioned that she personally called them to make sure that her orders were clear. I can’t say enough good things. I am blessed to be in her care.

Dr. DeCastro takes the time necessary to get to know you and the experience is thorough and not rushed. I and very happy to have found a great doctor for me and my family!

Dr. DeCastro was friendly, thorough, and professional. She listened to me, took her time, and completely answered all of my concerns. If every doctor were like Dr. DeCastro, there would be no need for these review systems. It's especially rare to find a great doctor with a great office staff, so Dr. DeCastro gets extra points for managing that.

Dr. DeCastro is a rare provider. She is 100% engaged with you, asks a lot a questions....and LISTENS to you. She is a unique combination of compassion, humility and thorough diagnostic capabilities. I am fortunate to have found her, never once did she make me feel like I was just another appointment for the day. She spent lots of time answering all my questions and offering encouragement. She is a great choice for a primary care physician. No, I'm not related to her, just a fan!!
