Very expensive lab tests, very expensive vitamins & supplements and lots of office visits. Improvement in health-- minimal.

Look elsewhere. Inconsistent care where she contradicts her own instructions to you. Her ego gets in the way of patient care. Her first words to me after an ER visit for painful diverticulitis "My patients are never in the ER," as if I had done something wrong. Her pain remedy was arnica cream with heat... for diverticulitis. Note that she rarely takes notes which may explain her contractions. I loved her associate and transferred to Kumar after she moved out of state. I just learned that my medical records were not transferred over. I was being treated for tachycardia, high blood pressure, chest pain w/ exertion, etc. with NO treatment and lab history. After calling Kumar out on her contradictions and lack of knowledge on current covid treatments (while I had covid) she sent me a letter terminating her services. Is that even ethical? I had already moved on.

She's so great at everything, I bet she shingles her own roof and pours her own concrete. She wants to argue with me over a dust mask. She has no experience with masks. Find someone who cares.

Dr. Kumar has been my healthcare provider since 2013. My most recent visit was for an annual check-up on 5-4-2021. She’s professional, compassionate and an overall excellent/outstanding healthcare practitioner. She takes the time needed to thoroughly assess my healthcare needs and is totally in tune with and takes time explaining the mind/body connection to mental and physical health. A common theme in my care has been prevention through a healthy diet, exercise and stress management. I appreciate her knowledge of and willingness to refer me to alternate treatment modalities as needed. Most important, she practices evidence based medicine supported by science. She is passionate about education and educating her patients as evidenced by the many webinars she has generated over time and made available on the Ommani Center website. Last but not least, Ommani Center staff have been consistently professional and helpful throughout the time I’ve been a patient of Dr. Kumar.

Nope. Find a different doctor. First visit is good, after that things go downhill. She requires lots of office visits, and nothing gets resolved.

The first time I went to Dr. Kumar I was so touched that I had finally found a doctor who actually cared about me and really wanted to get to know me and my history. I was treated with such kindness and expertise. Over the years my health has improved greatly and I now live pain free and I feel better in my late sixties than I did thirty years ago! Dr. Kumar has great integrity, she tells the truth about the best researched health and nutrition practices. She is a master at interpreting my blood work and I feel very cared for. Her practice is top notch!

Find another doctor. I had her for almost 15 years and was drawn in by a holistic approach. However, she went from compassionate to arrogant and blatantly pushed her side hustles - books, expensive supplements that are cheaper on Amazon. She dropped me out of the blue because I had a very small balance while I was very sick and not once reached out to see if i was okay - even with ER and hospital stay records being sent over for my file. Oh, wait. I DID hear from her. I got an invoice. Make sure you read all reviews. They are accurate. She's self absorbed, seems like her staff fears her. DO NOT go to Ommani Center unless you want a $300 dollar bill to sit with Dr. Kumar for 20 minutes and be told you don't need to be there, to take some vitamins, and to get your astrological chart done online for only $60. I was told by her front desk that the visit would be charged to my insurance under preventative care which would be fully covered (I checked with my insurance company), only to get a $300 bill in the mail weeks later. Total scam!

I spent over 4 years going to Dr. Kumar with minimal changes in my health. I wanted to believe in what she had to say - I liked that she had a more natural approach. However after trying a new doctor who used saliva testing instead of blood work, I had life-changing results in just a week of taking new supplements.

Nothing but wasted time and money. I had many visits with Dr. Kumar over approx. 2 years. My main hope was to get help balancing my hormones through menopause - many blood tests, expensive supplements (sold in her office) and compounded hormones pills and creams later, NO RELIEF. One appointment made for a painful condition resulted in nothing other than a referral for physical therapy. You pay to hear her philosophies and personal stories, NO real help + HIGH costs.

Called for annual check up and they set up a new patient appt - and of course doctors have certain hours for new patients. But never did they say, we don't do annual check up on first visits - first visits are only meet and greet OR I wouldn't have set it up. Instead they mislead me and set up the appt as if for an annual new patient check up. So after waiting 6 months and 45 minutes in waiting room, they tell me this immediately in nurses office. A Disservice to community - a money making scam!

I saw Dr. Kumar for about a year. At the time I was 27 yrs old & struggling to conceive. At the first visit I was inspired by her ideas, however, in subsequent visits I began to see that she was more interested in talking about herself, her health philosophies, & her book than focusing on me, her patient. My health was not improving, & when I phoned her during a frightening miscarriage, she was apathetic. I sought help elsewhere, and my husband & I welcomed a healthy daughter 2 yrs later.

If I could give a zero score I would! She had a horrible bedside manner. Very rude and pushed visits every 3 months! Do not waste your time and money...GO ELSEWHERE!
