Great doctor! One of the few in the state who can successfully manage my severe allergies, and damaged immune system problems (from having my thymus gland destroyeded as a baby thus giving me a low T cell count all my life). He is also the only physician other than one at UCLA Medical Center who has successfully managed my chronic Epstein-Barr flare ups ! I am surprised at how short I have to wait to see him once I arrive at his office, sometimes less than 5 minutes!

Wait times are often long. When you do see him he is cold and clinical. He doesn't take the time to listen and tends to rush to conclusions, judgements and medications without even laying a hand on you. I also believe, by my own experience, that he doesn't think highly of women or their intelligence. If you are looking for a doctor that dictates what you will do strictly by paperwork and status quo while not also considering the patient, this guy is for you. I am switching doctors

I had a dear friend who was fortunate enough to have Dr Venkatsen trying to help her survive cancer that moved too fast and was mishandled by the HMO back in 2000-2001. He was absolutly the most fantastic man. He did everything in his power to help her and sadly the cancer won but he will never be forgotten by me for all he tried to do to help her.
