Excellent bedside manner. Not intimidating, Friendly and Informative, taking the time to explain my procedure and outcome. Of course all the risks were reviewed. I couldn’t be happier. Dr Wanchick is an excellent choice

She did my surgery for my gall bladder, and after finding out that my hernia wasn't done right and needed revising. The decision where I would go was a no brainer. She is amazing! Compassionate! Had my gallbladder removed today by Dr. Wanchick. From the first time I met her, she made sure to help keep me calm, as this was my first surgery. She sat down with me in her office and took her time to explain everything to me step by step. She's fun and witty, excellent personality, and awesome bedside manners. If you do everything she tells you to do, all will run smoothly.

The medical assistance is horrible at her job. She couldn’t understand the meaning of patient service if it hit her! She’s rude. Love the doctor but her staff is a joke! Claim they gave me paperwork for tests but never did. Then said they won’t see me because I didn’t do the test they asked. I didn’t know they expected patients to be mind readers! Asked for a full refund of my entire balance since they asked me to pay up front for a surgery and never even did the surgery! Not to mention total waste of the past 3 months. Thanks! You said I was violent. Please explain that. I never once touched anyone. The cops were never called. I simply called out your medical assistant for being rude and hateful to me. Simply because she didn’t put a form in my folder. Your medical assistant called me “distraught”. I was upset. Upset because I wasted my time with a facility that doesn’t care!!!!

Absolutely terrible experience. Very poor systems and even worse communication. I wasted 6 months of my life with this doctor.

Dr. Wanchick will always be one of my hero's- she saved and gave me my life back. She was able to use her intricate knowledge of the body to think out of the box to solve a problem that completely took away my mobility and life that stumped many many Dr's and Surgeons. She was strategic, careful, methodical, possessed unsurpassed bedside manner and tenacity to heal and take on an extremely challenging case. She went above and beyond and I will always be grateful.

Did my surgery last year. I am having same problem now and she refuses to give me an appointment or even talk on phone. I know I have multipal hyrnias but so unprofessional not even to take a call.

While at St. Vincent’s we dealt with many doctors trying to figure out the cause of my father’s kidneys to fail. With cancer being thrown around as one of the top causes, not all can understand how our family was feeling being in limbo. We had many different doctors involved in the process.. I can not begin to tell you how much we appreciated the time, compassion, and even humor, that Dr. Wanchick was able to bring. So many doctors acted like they did not have the time for us.. maybe each cancer case for them is just another cancer case... but this was our father. I have been extremely happy with the care received from Dr. Wanchick. She explains everything in details that I can understand and talks to me like a friend as well as a patient. She and her staff show professionalism and care in the way they treat patients. I look forward to a long patient/doctor relationship with Dr. Wanchick.

I was told I would pay 200 dollars up front and then received a bill in the mail for 700 dollars. Dr. Kara Wanchick talked me into a procedure I didn't want and charged me 500 dollars for a numbing agent and a1/4 inch incision. This is why people hate doctors because they don't care about people they just care about their wallets!
