Dr. Karen R Banks Lindner

Dr.Karen Banks-Lindner is an amazing Doctor she listens everytime I go in to see her if I have a problem she will get me a referral to a specialist and I been finding out why I'm having the problems I'm having and I'm so blessed to have a doctor like her.

This office is nothing more than a "Referral Office". They have no doctoring skills and did nothing for my mother over 6 years except want to put her in a Nursing Home. They broke HIPPA rules when my brother called and put in orders at their office for my mother.

Never never never. Not only unprofessional but cleanliness and knowledge is lacking. It would be zero stars, if allowed.

I originally wanted to see Dr. Banks, due to my having been diagnosed with hypothyroidism and feeling as though my care was not being managed in the best ways possible by my former PCP, but was told by her office staff that she was NOT accepting any new patients. This site states that she is indeed accepting new patients, which is both untrue and misleading for potential patients seeking specialized care by an internist/endocrinologist. I was very disappointed that I could not schedule an appointment with Dr. Banks, as she is the only physician with these specialties in my area. This site, as well as many others needs to be updated to reflect the fact that she is NOT accepting new patients.

I am a big fan of Dr. Elizabeth Moore and all of the staff there at Dr. Banks-Lindner. I was treated with kindness and dignity. I cannot stress enough how being treated with dignity made me feel as if my problems were already being noticed. It is unnecessary to detail my particulars, only know that if you are honest and forthright these Doctors and excellent staff will treat you like family and that is all that can be asked for in today's world. My life is better for going to see Dr. Elizabeth Moore. I hope to meet Dr. Banks-Lindner on one of my next visits. God bless you all. Tony Winter

My husband and I saw Laura. She is extremely thorough and listens with sincerity. Excellent diagnostician.The staff is friendly and very helpful.

Karen is an excellent doctor i have no problems with her and the staff. They are like a family to me. She takes her time talking to me about health issues and so forth.

Saw Dr. Linder very briefly. Too briefly for a total exam! That’s why i never got treatment! Her PA has spread untrue rumors about me. Interrupted and spoke over me during a consult. Most importantly. Lacked any form of caring or the ability to empathize! Unprofessional so just avoid. This is the bottom of the barrel when it comes to “professionalism and caring...not to mention honesty. Sad, pathetic excuse for medical professionals! Stay away.

This “Doctor” is not honest nor professional. Her PA is dishonest and treated me so poorly I cannot find the words! They left me without very medically necessary medication over a weekend. Called the emergency number due to the seriousness of consequences of not having medication. Refused to speak with me. Going off this medication can result in very serious consequences. They did not care!! Save your time and money. See a real Doctor! ????

Myself, my wife and my sister all see Dr. Banks. I have several chronic health issues, as does my sister. Dr. Banks has always taken excellent care of us. She is an excellent doctor who explains things clearly, but more importantly, she *listens* so she understands exactly what is going on. I have never left her office feeling any health issue was unaddressed. I have referred numerous family members to Dr. Banks, and they are satisfied as well. Switching to Dr. Banks was the best move I made.

Best doctor I have ever had and her staff are great. I love that they have a patient portal and that every time I call the office I get a real human being not some automated system. Always lets me know when I am due for any annual testing.

Terrific provider and staff. I never feel like a number. Staff are always friendly and attentive and providers listen to me. Their office is very active in the community as well. would recommend to anybody hope they never leave.

patient for 18 months, never met her - records transferred, phoned for script renewal pharmacy notified - great if all you want is drugs

I had seen Dr. Banks for about 2 years. At first her practice was good. Then she gradually became less efficient with the addition of more medical staff. For the reviewer who says Dr. Banks did something for high BP. I had just the opposite experience. I got alarmingly high BP. She seems way too busy now. Very disappointed. I have found a much better D.O. near Binghamton. Overall Dr. Banks is incompetent.

I've been a patient of Dr. Banks for three years. Two years ago, she noticed that my BP was significantly higher than typical for me. Rather than just prescribe a medicine and send me on my way, she sent me to have my blood drawn at CHM. Since she was so concerned about the outcome, she placed a rush on the results. Before I got home, she called to inform me to check myself in at the ER. The diagnosis - end stage renal failure. Because of her, I am alive today after 10 months of dialysis.

Very unprofessional as a Doctor to let her and Michelle Provost,PA, nurse, Cathy talk to patients the way she does. She forcefully talks down and over patients instead of listening and trying to help. I was called out on a drug screen, told my labs came back as that of a steroid user, which I am not, and neglected to refill my psychiatric medication for the day it was due. I had called for my refill 4 days in advance. This nurse shouldn't be a nurse and her license should be pulled!
