Hi ladies, if you're looking for care beyond a basic birth control prescription I would recommend against Karen. After coming in for debilitating periods postpartum, I asked for some testing to be done to assess what was happening as I have PCOS and have a history of extreme hormonal changes. I was instead offered a hormonal IUD (with no ultrasound or bloodwork) or to end child bearing (after repeatedly saying I wanted more children). In my experience Karen was unwilling to listen and aggressively condescending when I repeatedly said I was uncomfortable with her suggested treatment. Just a friendly reminder to stand up for yourself and seek the fair treatment you deserve, even if it means finding another provider!
