Dr. Raymond John Altieri

I've been seeing Dr. Altieri for years. You have to get to know him to understand his personality. He genuinely cares about his patients and only does what's best for the patient. He's very flexible as far as scheduling and very down to earth. I enjoy his sense of humor and intellect hope to see him for many years to come.

incredibly rude, I called to see if he was accepting new patients and the first thing he says when he picks up is “who is this.” I asked if it was Dr. altieri’s office and he angrily and aggressively said “who is this” again. Do NOT recommend

Never been treated by him--never will be! Currently he is in Walmart yelling at a patient on the phone, making rude comments to customers who try to pass by him as he stands in the middle of the isle. What a nasty human being! Can't imagine his bedside manner!

I read the reviews but seem to think Dr. Alteri must have found a soft spot in his heart...i have only experienced kindness and generosity from him...i just met the Dr. 3 months ago after being discharged from the hospital...he seem to work alone but you can tell he have been in this profession a lifetime...he may not have a fancy office and equipment but he is very knowledgeable and experienced...

I have never been treated by him so I can’t say anything about his medical skills, but his social skills and manners are severely lacking. On the phone, he was impatient, rude, and abrupt and interrupted me almost every time I spoke. He snapped at me that he was with a patient, in which case he shouldn’t have answered his phone at all. Either hire a receptionist or let the call go to voicemail if you can’t be bothered. I can’t imagine he has much of a bedside manner if that is how he speaks to potential patients. If you are looking for kindness and common decency, this isn’t your guy. Down to earth caring Physician. I have never been to any Dr where I was seen at the time of my appt, and can make it back to the car in the middle of the winter after the appt; AND MY COFFEE IS STILL HOT! Can not say enough about Dr Altieri.

Refused to give me a referral for a dermatologist because he feels that i only “use” him for referrals. I desperately need to see a dermatologist and now I need to get a new primary care dr all together just so I can get a referral for a dermatologist. If anyone knows any primary care dr please contact me.

Dr. Altieri is a great choice for those who can appreciate getting an appointment very early in the morning BEFORE they go to work. He is open very early and can often see you the same morning that you call. For those who don't appreciate the fact that he answers his own phone.....REALLY? That is great!

Raymond Altieri is one of the finest doctors in Dundalk.

Great guy. Be honest with him regardless the issue, he has heard all, believe me. Easy access and you can get in very early. He does not stack patients. Very competent I trust his judgement, he sees what we do not, he is a good doctor.

I've been seeing Dr. Alteri for a very long time... He is a great Dr., reliable, and truly cares about his patients. He really gets to know his patients on a personal level and jokes alot with them. Even though some people may find him to come off as rude or grumpy, they just don't appreciate his straight forwardness and honest opinion. If he has ever been rude to anyone its because im sure they did something against his practice rules and he surely doesn't sugar coat things that need to be addressed. I’ve been going to Dr. Altieri for a couple years now and he’s one of the best Doctors I’ve ever dealt with! I highly recommend him to anyone and everyone. He’s smart, kind and down-to-earth and I couldn’t be happier!

This man needs to retire no one should ever be treated by a grumpy Nasty man. Nothing triggers it either he's just normally a miserable soul. By far the worst Dr I've seen in my entire life

Always gave me great treatment or steered me in the direction of The specialist for the job. He has a quirky sense of humor some uptight people may find mean or nasty, in actuality he's just warranting a laugh. Good little doc and cool dude in my book.

Most unpleasant Doctor I've ever met. Someone as miserable and grumpy as he is should not be in this profession. So rude.

Has no staff - answers his own phone or you get a machine. Refused to accept me as a patient because of my health problems. Was very rude.
