Thank to Dr. Schaeffer's team. I am back now to my normal life, i can walk with no pain. I remember the first time i walked in to her clinic, i cannot walk properly nor stand for long time. With her clinical and team's expertise i had the best and wonderful time while i was under thier care. Words is not enough to thank them. They were rude when I called to cancel a follow up appointment. Wanted my money regardless if I was better or not

Dr. Kathy Shafer and her crew are the absolute best. Foot pain is not only painful but mentally scary. Your mind goes to the worst place that you’ll never be pain free. That fear came from years of pain and my history with other doctors. Dr. Shafer thoroughly went through what was wrong, and explained it to me in non medical terms so I could understand. My two boys and I see Dr. Schafer for everything related to our feet. Flat feet, extra bone, arthritic toes... she and the staff are AMAZING. Friendly and warm, everything is explained up front. Dr. Schafer even found a hairline fracture other dr had missed at urgent care.

After two other podiatrist were quick to suggest surgery, Dr. Schafer listened to my concerns, discussed treatment options & we agreed on a last ditch effort of a stem cell injection for my shredded, necrotic sesamoid. I am beyond satisfied with the results. After two years of suffering and visiting several specialists, multiple tries of PT, what felt like hundreds of x-rays, an MRI and two bone growth stimulators, it took one visit for Dr. Schafer to look outside the box and suggest something revolutionary. My sesamoid is completely healed, which I never thought would happen. I highly recommend Dr. Schafer! Thank you Dr. Schafer for actually hearing my concerns! We have been going to Dr. Schafer for 10+ years. She is caring, knowledgeable, and always takes the time to make sure you know what is going on with your health. She goes above and beyond for her patients. Her staff always greet you with a smile. We have since moved out of the area but will make the 1+ hour drive to Brookfield before we try someone around us. Dr Schaefer took wonderful and exceptional care of my son with his severe ingrown toenail that was causing him a great deal of pain. She was able to numb the area thoroughly and he tolerated the procedure so well that he he didn't even flinch. She took all the time he needed to feel comfortable and pain free

Dr. Schafer and staff are amazing! She is so personable and thorough with her diagnosis and explanations which makes it so easy to understand the condition and dynamics that caused it. We (3 family members) will drive an hour to be seen by her and her expertise! I would recommend Dr. Schafer to anyone needing help with podiatry!

I’ve been going to Dr. Schafer’s office for three weeks for laser treatments on both of my feet. I have had pain in my feet for years. Walking was more often just torture, let alone the agony of going up and down stairs. I’m currently halfway through my six weeks of treatment and I cannot believe how good my feet feel - walking is nearly painless and I’m doing those stairs like a normal human. The entire staff is friendly, helpful and professional. I highly recommend this practice to anyone with foot issues. Our entire family has been seeing Dr. Kathy for 15 years. She's amazing! Not only will she go above and beyond in resolving/treating your condition, but she'll take all the time needed to make sure you understand your options. She has the best bed-side manner and is so patient with kids and seniors, too. The office is welcoming and always clean. I have to add, the office staff is top-notch as well. Kathleen Schafer is truly a talented doctor and will give you the best practical care to get you well. She also prevents future problems from happening by giving good advice to head off possible problems due to genetic dispositions or unique other concerns.
