Dr. Kelly Lynn Babineaux

When my granddaughter complained of pain in her finger I took her to see Dr. Babineaux. She diagnosed her with a ganglion cyst and scheduled a procedure to remove the cyst. The procedure was successful and my granddaughter is doing well. Highly recommend Dr. Babineaux. From time of first appointment to post-procedure appointment was 21 days!

I visited the hand doc because my hand was going numb at night and she diagnosed me with carpal tunnel syndrome. I do not want surgery so she is treating me with medication and a splint. Will see her again for a follow-up. No complaints.

I went to see Dr. Babineaux because I was having wrist pain. She diagnosed and treated me for carpal boss. I am feeling so much better since my visit. Dr. Babineaux is an excellent doctor and very professional. I would definitely recommend Dr. Babineaux!

I saw Dr. Babineaux for my basal thumb joint arthritis and she injected my joint with steroid. The shot worked great! I am now pain free. I highly recommend her for any hand problems.

I developed wrist pain after having a baby so I saw Dr. Babineaux. She treated me for what she said was "DeQuervain's tendonitis" and gave me a brochure on the condition. I chose to wear a splint instead of having a shot and it worked great. I am now pain free and my tendonitis went away. So happy!

Dr. Babineaux is very professional, compassionate and an outstanding hand surgeon. I was suffering for years with my wrist and after appointments and surgery I am 100% back to normal. Would recommend her to anyone that has has hand or lower arm issues. Excellent surgeon!! Best hand surgeon in New Orleans area Hands down !!!

I was highly impressed with Dr. Babineaux. She has exquisite bedside manner and truly cares for her patients ensuring they have the best care possible. I was very nervous attending my first appointment but Dr. Babineaux explains exactly what is wrong and how she is going to fix it. I sincerely trust her as well as her medical knowledge and judgement. I would highly recommend Dr. Babineaux.

Great hand surgeon and great office experience! I will return for any of may hand needs.

I love Dr Babineaux, her staff at the Metairie office, however, leave a lot to be desired. I explained my situation in detail, was given an appointment, 3 weeks away. When I arrived, after a 3 hour drive, I was told, she won’t see you in this office. Really!!???

Dr. Babineaux was incompetent and does not have manners. She performed a series of tests from blood work to imaging tests at University Hospital in a term of 2 years; she could not find anything wrong with me, so she discharged me when I was experiencing horrible pains. However, I paid out of pocket to see another Orthopedic surgeon and was diagnosed with carpal tunnel and cubital tunnel. Please do not let this lady operate on you. She is incompetent.

I had a great experience overall with my office visit and surgery. No complaints. My surgery results were awesome and you can’t even see my scar. Don’t always believe what you read in terms of the negatives cause some people are just never happy with anyone. ??????

Horrible bedside manner. Insulting and rude. Doesn't care about the outcome of her surgery. Just doing them . left me in pain because I refused to allow her to insult me.

Excellent surgeon very patient explained procedure answered all my questions checked on me after surgery very caring and compassionate would recommend her to anyone that needs an excellent hand surgeon

Does not respond to emails. Sends interns to evaluate, diagnose, and communicate with patients. I have visited her office twice and she didn't even deign to come in for a minute to speak with me. I had to liaise with the resident like a second-class patient. It's clear they are overworked and short-staffed, but this is unacceptable. Also wait time from appt time averages 5 hours consistently. So rude. So unprofessional.

I would recommend Doctor Babineaux to everyone. I cut my tendon in August 2016. I had surgery on August 25,2016. Dr. Babineaux helped me understand my situation, was up front about the treatment. I go to psychical therapy twice a week. My hand is still improving and I still continue to see her. I may be facing a second surgery but the only surgeon I trust with my hand is Doctor Babineaux.

This dr didn't even come in after the surgery to tell the patient how the surgery went before he was discharged. Nothing. Also, after a serious hand surgery from a thumb amputation you would think they would send you home with a pain prescription. Nope not with her. And after calling about it and being told we would be called back, no one called. Terrible. Very inconsiderate and unprofessional if you ask me. Just showed she doesn't really care about her patients.

She is very knowledgeable, and she takes the time to explain everything in terms that a patient can understand. She is very friendly and has wonderful bedside manner. I would highly recommend her!
