She is beyond awesome, she has been my son’s pediatrician for 16 years. When he was one she knew something wasn’t right and wanted to test his blood. We agreed and discovered he had a peanut allergy that was severe, her medical knowledge pretty much saved his life.

**** First, I need to apologize for not writing a review the FIRST time I had brought my daughter to see Dr. B.*** I had brought my daughter to the Ocshner pediatrics office in Kenner because the Destrehan clinic didn’t have any openings. We went in to see Dr. Busenlener for headaches and a few other issues. I was sure that she was just going to do the basic check up and then tell her to take some ibuprofen and Motrin and send us on our way. I was wrong, she did the routine check up then she did physical tests in the office noticed things that didn’t look consistent so she wanted to check those as well, she sent us off for bloodwork and x-rays and an MRI. She was so nice and thorough. While I was there I had a miscarriage right in the middle of the room and her whole care team and herself took care of me and attended to my daughter while helping me gather myself and my mess. She stayed with me after hours until I was able to have somebody come and pick us up because I didn’t think I should’ve been driving . she and her care team entertained my daughter and comforted me as well. We had to go back to see the doctor not too long ago for a second time, she was just as thorough just as nice and very professional. She explained everything as she was doing it and she was making sure that I was educated on the matter at hand. She was awesome! Made my baby feel very comfortable. Love also being able to wait in my car before being called.

Dr. Busenlener is a great pediatrician. She has been caring for my daughter since the age of 2 months. She is always thorough and patient with my daughter.

Dr. Busenlener is the finest pediatrician I have ever met. She treated me as a child and is now caring for my newborn son. Her professional demeanor paired with her extensive career caring for tiny humans sets her above the standard of pediatrician care. She is kind, knowledgeable, quick and efficient. As a first time mom, she had exceeded all expectations and comforts me any time I have a concern, no matter how big or small. Dr. B as always was caring and gentle with Clara, and she made me feel better when I didn’t know what was wrong with my daughter. Her calm, no-nonsense attitude helps in those situations.

Dr. B is awesome! She very professional and my children feel comfortable talking with her. I’m able to make sick appointments and I feel she genuinely cares for the health of my children.

I sent a message to the doctor concerning a flu shot issue with my child, and she responded immediately.

Dr B is a wonderful caring physician who is great with children and parents. She takes the time to listen to your concerns.

My husband and I went through 3 different pediatricians before we found dr. Busenlener. She takes her time and answers all of our questions. We also love how sweet she is with our baby. Have recommended her to all of my friends with babies!!!

Dr. Busenlener is one of a kind. She has been a wonderful addition to the Ochsner Children's Clinic. My four daughters started seeing her when she joined the practice. She knows all of my girls by name. She always takes her time to talk with my girls and get to know them personally. She is caring and compassionate. The receptionist and front office staff are amazing. Kind, courteous and patient. I can't say enough good things about Ochsner Children's Clinic.
