Even gross! I'm disgusted at these comments and every saying the same thing yet this dentist is still able to practice. I'm glad I've seen these reviews because I did set an appointment about a month out for my daughter. Needless to say I'll be canceling our appointment.

My son loves Dr. Childress! Very friendly staff!

This doctor assaulted my autistic son, they wouldn't let me in the back, they said they would let me back in a few minutes and I waited the whole time then my son came out and he looked scared so I asked what's wrong, he didn't tell me what happened until a month later when his next appointment came up he kept saying am I going back and then he told me that the doctor grabbed him up and slammed him down on the Chair shook him and shoved his knuckles in my son's chest, I filed a police report on him and told medicaid, medicaid did nothing about it, the police did nothing, the doctor still sees children, you can look him up on YouTube and see how many children he has assaulted in the past, these kids are scared and No One is listening, do your research before taking your baby to him, he is a Woolf in sheep's clothing This doctor assaulted my autistic son, they wouldn't let me in the back, they said they would let me back in a few minutes and I waited the whole time then my son came out and he looked scared so I asked what's wrong, he didn't tell me what … More

As a former employee of this facility, I can tell you DO NOT TRUST THIS DOCTOR WITH YOUR CHILDREN. He will put his hands on your children and scare the literal hell out of them. He will yell at them. Definition of a terrifying dentist. He also puts his hands on employees, especially WOMEN. Insulting parents, patients and employees.

Recently, I took my 2 yr old son here for his very first dentist experience and he keeps asking me to go back :-). We did a lot of reading and hype up before going, but you still never know how your kid is going to do. The staff were all so wonderful, and Dr Childress was awesome too. He examined Cal and was very thorough. My son didn’t mind him at all, he was calm and kind. He took extra time to provide us with education and resources on diet and other ways to help keep his teeth clean as cavity free. Elysa our hygienist was also amazing, she worked really well with Cal and was very patient, making his cleaning a fun experience. Long story short, Calvin has been asking to go back to the dentist all week. Horrible place! Not only does the Doctor mistreat his patients but also his employees! Constantly calling them out of their name and throwing items at them. Very unprofessional doctor! Stop taking your kids to him!

We have been going here for almost two years now. The dentist and the staff have been nothing but wonderful!! I highly recommend him to anybody that is looking for a dentist or orthodontist.

I read the horrible reviews before going to this office, and I wish I would have listened. Unfortunately, everything I was told about this place was true. Very rude staff, and the dentist himself was very. unapologetic for the way his staff treated people. I have NEVER been more disappointed or offended. It is extremely upsetting to know this is the only option for orthodontics in the Ruidoso area. Trust me, do not take your children here. Drive the extra hour for a better experience.

People have varying opinions of Dr. Childress, but what people need to know is that he is a very caring person and dentist. His staff is one of the most friendliest and my kids love them! I really like that Dr. Childress is thorough with his exams and in explaining everything to me. My kids love him! Please don't just go by the negative information you find on the internet about Dr. Childress. He and his staff strive to provide our kids with the absolute best dental care.

He is a wonderful dr. Dr. Childress is very patient with my kids and has made them both feel comfortable and excited to visit the dentist again!

Just moved to Ruidoso and needed a dentist for my 2 year old. Googled children's dentist and found Dr. Childress. We had the best experience! My little girl had never been to the dentist and his staff made it fun! Dr. Childress went over everything with me and was very nice with us. I'm glad we picked him. His clinic is super child friendly. I especially liked that I could go back with my little girl. He's the best!

I would never have anyone go to this Dentist. He is rude, condescending, when he does not get his way he calls the patient and there parent names. If I knew what I know now about him, I would never have gone to him, let alone let him to any type of work on my children.
