Great atmosphere, great staff, excellent doctor he listens and is concerned about the patients needs.

Very thorough exam with all questions answered. Dr. Hyde did not make me feel rushed. No waiting time and pleasant experience all around .

Dr. Hyde & his Staff take the time to listen to your concerns and questions. They don’t hurry you out of the office. Dr. Hyde is Terrific!!

I had a good visit wit Dr. Hyde. I was very impressed with the extra care and cleaning practices the doctor and facility showed to protect me from COVID exposure.

We first found Dr. Hyde when my wife was suffering from very painful corneal abrasions a year ago. We had been to emergency rooms and doctors, but Dr. Hyde was the first to recognize that she had been given the wrong curvature contact lenses by our previous optometrist. Dr. Hyde was instrumental in the healing of her eyes and he helped her get a new prescription with Theresa, the contact lens specialist downstairs. My wife has had no problems since and we intend to take all of our future eye issues to Dr. Hyde. And my wife just ordered her second batch of contacts through Theresa. I feel comfortable all the time and please share my eye problems with Dr. Hyde. He is always attentive, listening and sharing his knowledge with humility and patience.

Dr. Hyde is the real deal, genuine, attentive, present, thoughtful and sincerely interested in giving clarity and direction. He is a peaceful, good hearted, calm mannered man of integrity who wholeheartedly cares about his patients. He has wonderful medical insight and is a skilled physician.

Dr.Hyde is excellent. Besides his formidable knowledge. He is warm and friendly and takes time to listen to your concerns. His staff is courteous and efficient, and that goes for Houston Eye Associates as well.

My first visit with Dr. Hyde left me with a very favorable impression, from seeing me promptly at the appointed time, through a thorough examination and a careful explanation of the findings, to a path forward—all the while allowing plenty of time for my questions and his honest answers. Highly recommend Dr. Hyde???????? He answered all my questions, very kind, patient and after my surgery his staff would call to check up on me. His receptionist is the best and would go above and beyond to make me feel good and comfortable after I had an enucleation surgery. She would show me updated before and after(prosthetic) pictures in which would make me feel more positive and would lift me up. Thank you so much Dr Hyde & Staff???? ???? Also with covid his office was very clean and I would notice how his staff and Dr. Hyde would clean after we would touch something and even before I would also have to do eye exam he would clean before use????thank you for caring for your staff and patient as well???????? Staff friendly, efficiency and I about fell over when I saw that he was pulling up his seat to explain my diagnosis and procedures in detail. Since I moved here, 8 years ago, no doctor has ever done that. It was reassuring and relieved my anxiety.

After accidentally traumatizing my eye this morning, I called Dr. Hyde's office for an appointment. He was able to see me quickly. I was anxious about the exam as my eye was uncomfortable and hurt a bit. He patiently and calmly walked me through the necessary steps of the exam process (and it was painless), explained what he found, what to expect as the eye healed, and recommendations to help. I'm thankful for his quick and calm response.

As for the Dr he is exceptional!!! As for the receptionist very RUDE!

Highly recommend. Dr. Hyde is thorough, explaining from start to finish what to expect. He is prompt with appointments and takes time to answer all questions.

He gave me wonderful advice about my issues and time to consider my options!

Dr. Hyde saved me from a hourly and daily Psychological trauma by successfully performing a very delicate surgery and rare eye condition called DERMOLIPOMA. For 12 years I suffered from this painful and cosmetic unpleasant to look at eye disease on both eyes that, caused me to wear sunglasses all day every day and at night as well and, caused me to have an unsecured and Psychological issues. I couldn't look at people's eyes because it wasn't pleasant to look at it. It is very risky operation that I struggle to make a decision whether to do it or not. Dr. Hyde very calmly and thoroughly and in high confidence explained the procedure and made me finally feel confident to do it. Now, I don't have to wear sunglasses and feel free and joyful to make eye contact with everyone I meet. I praise Dr. Hyde for his experience and professionalism. Thank you.

Good Doctor. Will highly recommend.

Writing this for my mom. Dr. Hyde performed blepharoplasty for my mom and it was like he took ten years off her age. The consultation, surgery, and results were wonderful. Dr. Hyde was very thorough but at the same time gave straightforward, easy to understand explanations and instructions. The staff was equally great.

My experience with Dr,Hyde today was excellent.

Very pleasant Dr to have met for my first visit with him. Love his detail in my examination and explanation of his findings.

I like that Dr. Hyde wasn’t pushy when it came to treatment. He laid out my options and gave honest answers.

I had a lesion removal from my corner of eyelid. Surgery was very successful, it healed very well without any scar. Before the surgery, he clearly explained the situation and surgical process and he did what he promised. Excellent surgeon with excellent results. Definitely recommend him.

Rudest response Ive ever heard from a doctor. I’m paying him to treat me, even when the treatment is done, he still the trusted doctor whom I should be following with. His response to me was”I don’t want to see you again!”.

This was a very good experience. it was the second time I had surgery for a blocked tear duct. The first surgery in NYC was not successful and so I had it done in Houston with Dr Hyde. Much easier recovery and so far so good. The Doctor and staff at the office and surgical center were unbelievably caring and professional.

Dr Hyde corrected Droopy Eyelids (Ptosis) in both eyes. To make sure of the problem source, he had a separate assessment performed by a Specialist, which I very much appreciated. He clearly explained the process, the risks and possible outcomes. I had no complications, used ice packs often, did NOT incur any swelling. Was fine by time of followup after a week. No further office visits were necessary. Without reservation whatsoever, highly recommend Dr Hyde!

Using a two step approach Dr. Hyde restored normal form and function to my left eyelid which had been severely damaged in two separate childhood injuries some 60 years ago. His approach was methodical and he was forthright about the range of possible outcomes. His creativity re-shaped an eyelid that was drooping so low that the pupil itself was mostly obscured and peripheral vision was nonexistent. I now have a full field of vision as well as peripheral vision and could not be happier.

Had eye surgery on lower eye lid, very pleased with the surgery

Dr. Hyde is the best professional that I know. Excellent surgeon and courteous to the patient. Trustworthy.
