I am a 72yo man & I saw Dr. Kane for a 16yr check on my left hip which had been replaced by Dr. Mead. Dr. Kane is thorough, professional, & personable. He showed my my x-rays & answered my questions. He was recommended to me by Dr. Schuler, my PCP. I recommend Dr. Kane unconditionally for hip replacement & for 2nd repair or replacement.

I went In for my 3 year check up for a hip replacement. I was taken in for XRay's sent out to the waiting room. Not 5 minutes later I was called into a room Checked over my charts. Doctor Kane followed explained to me what he was checking for and. what he found. Explained everything took the time to answer all my questions. I might be a lucky one but from the time I came out surgery to now I have had no pain. I also referred a friend. Who picked Dr. Kane for his surgery also. I would recommend Dr. Kane again. Very happy with the out come of my surgery.

Dr Kane & Staff are true professionals in every sense of the word. From the pre-op meetings, surgery, & post op meetings did an outstanding job of explaining, listening, advising. on my total hip replacement. The pain is totally gone, so nice to walk climb stairs, sleep etc again. Would highly reccommend Dr Kane and Staff for certain. Thanks again !!

Dr. Kane payiently andwered all my questions and provided information on the procedure I didn't realize I needed to know. I very much appreciated Doctor Kane met with me personally instead of having me meet with an associate, no matter how knowledgable.

Excellent caring bedside manner. Sits down to talk, great eye contact, and really listens to your concerns. Works as a team player. Excellent collaborative relationship with athletic trainers, nursing staff on orthopedic unit at St. Mary’s. St. Mary’s has a marketing phrase- be remarkable.. and I can truly say, my care has been remarkable. I have told Dr. Kane si, and he humbly smiled and said thanks.

I've been going to Dr Kane for many years. He's kind, compassionate and he listens. I have never had an issue with any surgery he has performed.

Always direct & willing to answer questions. There was a scheduling mixup as to which RVO office I was to come to, but would chock that up to a clerical error.

Had left hip done a year ago and was somewhat apprehensive. I just had my right done last done last week. Dr. Kane is great would not thinking of using anyone else!

Appointments are on time, however, I don't feel that Dr. Kane is looking at my mother as a patient, but a number. My mother does have other health concerns that make surgery high risk; however, without a hip replacement, she has no quality of life whatsoever. Every appointment, Dr. Kane comes up with another reason he won't do surgery. I feel that he is more concerned with having a black mark on his record than he is about my mother's quality of life. We are getting another doctor.

Outstanding surgeon with a great staff. Extreme hip arthritis that was very painful, came out of surgery and walked that evening without pain. Three months later and back to most of my daily routine.

My hip replacement could not have gone better or been easier. From the initial appointment to the education session to the surgery and follow up appointments, Dr. Kane and his staff were patient, caring and concerned. I don't know how it could have been better!

Doctor Kane and his office are very professional, well-organized and efficient. I had a problem with a 17 year old artificial hip that was hard to pin point the cause (problem did not show on an MRI or X-ray) Dr. Kane went through the steps to determine what the problem may be and had me scheduled for surgery/ The pre-surgery class was excellent as was the support from Dr. Kane's office. My experience at Mercy/Saint Mary hospital was one of the best I've had in the 5 surgeries I had.

I received excellent care from Dr. Kane for a knee injury. He correctly diagnosed my injury before I had an MRI. My surgery went well and I have just completed my PT. I found Dr. Kane to be a very caring and highly competent physician.

Very thorough and understanding.

I found Dr. Kane to be personable, thorough in explanations to my questions or concerns, efficient, and gifted in his skills. My follow-up visits were encouraging and my incision healed marvelously. He performed arthroscopic surgery on my knee several years ago, replaced my left knee joint this time around and is scheduled to replace my right knee joint in two months. I appreciated his conservative approach to surgery, treating me with pain meds two years until surgery was necessary.

Dr. Kane has a great bedside manner, explains things very well and is very easy to talk with.

I have had excellent care from Dr. Kane. I have had left and right knees replaced as well as my left Hip. I had no problems at all.
