I meet Dr. Owsley several years ago the 3rd opinion on my shoulder. This shoulder already had several surgeries before. Dr. Owsley was very professional and answered my questions. He was very vocal that I really don't want another shoulder surgery which was true. After months of physical therapy, Dr. Owsley did the shoulder surgery and it was 100% successful. My physical therapist was shocked at how much improvement a few weeks after surgery. Dr. Owsley saw me for a few knee issues and my other shoulder. He did knee surgery as well which was helpful but the shoulder was a major help. He can run late but I really don't mind that. Another orthopedic surgeon (that has special training hands) at another orthopedic group has raved on Dr. Owsley surgery ability. That is a statement itself.

I decided to not meet with Dr. Owsley after how the staff responded for my request for an appointment when I called them. Extremely impatient and cutting me off at every question before I could complete the question. And the person I was speaking to started acting as if she was not able to hear me, while she was able to hear me fine until then. And when I asked her why she was doing that, she said she would try increasing the volume and then put me on hold music and never came back. And all this happened in a span of 2-3 minutes. Dr. Owsley is conservative in his approach to surgery. We decided on meniscus surgery last September in hopes that would take care of my pain. Unfortunately my knee pain continued, so we scheduled a total knee replacement 7 months later. He was patient with all my questions and explained the process in detail. Dr. Owsley will be replacing my other knee in July.

Dr. Owsley performed total hip replacement on me. Everything went smoothly and I am enjoying painfree mobility again.

Dr. Owsley is fantastic. I have had multiple knee surgeries over the years, but I trusted Dr. Owsley with the big one...a full knee replacement. And he was awesome. His demeanor, his knowledge, his skill...they are all amazing.

He did my emergency surgery for traumatic injury of compound fracture of my tibia and fibula. Excellent surgeon and follow up care. Great bedside manner as well. I was very fortunate.

Two surgeries with Dr Owsley. He makes you feel at ease. Just can't say enough good things about him.

Dr. Owsley is THE VERY BEST! He repaired my daughter’s knee and my arm (biceps tendons). I flew from Florida to have my arm fixed by Dr. Owsley because of the amazing job he did on my daughter’s knee. It was worth EVERY PENNY! He is smart kind really outstanding with difficult surgeries. He’s put me back together a few times. Highly recommend

Absolute best experience possible. From pre to post-OP, Dr Owsley and his team are beyond incredible. Dr. is not only very skilled, but he is kind, and that trickles down to his team. Exceptional!

He did a knee repair (microfracture and meniscus tear) and he did a great job. I wish I hadn't waited so long to get it done.

I had successful knee surgery two months ago to replace my ACL and repair two meniscus tears. I cannot say enough about Dr. Owsley and the level of care he and his staff (Escondido office) have provided from day one. I knew immediately after my first office visit that I was in good hands and made the right decision. Without hesitation, I would absolutely recommend Dr. Owsley to all my friends and family!

I had a wonderful visit today with Dr. Owsley and his staff. It was a great experience from start to finish. Everyone was so very friendly and accommodating! Dr. Owsley was patient and answered all of my questions. I received a diagnosis, information I needed for treatment and continuing care. I would not hesitate to see him if needed in the future and recommend him heartily.

Dr. Owsley repaired my ruptured bicep tendon perfectly, so far as I am concerned. Great bedside manner during pre and post operation visits. Answered all my questions succinctly and with full information. Good person, good human being, and his staff seems to truly enjoy working with him. Knowing that he treats well with his staff speaks volumes for him, as they speak well of him. Friendly easy check in at first visit. Thoughtful assistant easy to talk to. Dr. Owsley quickly came into my room under 5 minute wait. Explained thoroughly with model my issues took his time answered my many questions, gave me my choices for my recovery. Dr. Owsley was fantastic. I would highly recommend him for all your orthopedic needs.

Although I am not particularly fond of "Arch Health Partners" I am extremely fond of Dr. Owsley. He is a gem amid many who are not. I would not hazard seeing anyone else for my orthopedic needs.

Dr is the BEST! He has repaired one arm and in a second fall he helped me heal my pelvis and other arm. He always makes time for us. I so highly recommend him there really aren’t enough stars.

He downplayed my injury and made me feel bad that I had concerns. He was always rushed and didn’t take time to answer questions. I’ve already pegged his go to “let’s wrap it up” move. He will open the door and have one foot out to rush you and give him an easy exit. I did not feel cared for at all. And this office always runs severely late, like 45 min-1 hour!

Excellent, knowledgeable and caring doctor

I had an appt to see Dr. Owsley in regards to a hip fracture. He reviewed the X ray, which did not come out too well because I am wheelchair bound and was unable to stand for the X ray. Anyway he told me what options I had to treat the fracture and left and never returned. I had questions to ask him, but since he did not come back I did not get them answered. It seemed he wanted to get me out and refer me to someone else.

I have always had a good experience with Dr Owsley Seeing him fie bother knees. I didn't have alot of questions but if I did he would have taken the time. I have come to accept the wait is usually long. The staff is very helpful with my issues. I would highly recommended this office and Dr O

We had an appointment at 9:00am. The doctor ran late due to a last minute surgery assist and got seen at 9:30am. No issues with this as you cannot control time in surgery. The issue with this doctor lies in his attitude. He was sarcastic because he could not understand our injury description. He asked a question and because we did not give a quick answer, he responded with, "This is not a game show." It came out of his mouth that he is rushing us because he is behind. Not our problem.

Simply the best. He is honest, kind, and skilled at what he does. He operates on other surgeons, athletes, the therapists, and hospital staff. Its who the 'insiders' go see. I saw two other shoulder surgeons. Dr. O spends time, explains the problem and possible solutions. My shoulder went from non functional to amazing! Well worth the wait.

I read the reviews before coming to had high hopes. This dr meet those hopes and impressed me even more. He told me his thoughts, answered my questions with no judgement, listen to me & spend a good amount of time with me. He got a great bedside manner. This type of service, the wait no issue.

Dr. O was extremely hurried, gave minimal answers with NO edification regarding my pain, did not return to the exam room for my questions and I was "excused" by a new-hire before being able to ask for clarification (& I'm not shy and retiring!). I asked for the PA (?) to call the next day, then again the next day and never received a return call. I did not get my "money's worth" & I'm still in pain. Other than the diagnosis of a bone-on-bone knee, I'm still left wondering about my hip pain.

Dr. Owsley is one of the kindest and most honest doctors you will have the pleasure of working with. He has been instrumental in making sure a friend of mine who was hurt in an accident has the proper care, and he goes the extra mile for referrals. He doesn't waste time on needless treatments either. The waiting time in the office is terrible (usually 1+ hours behind on appointments per visit...and I don't have a lot of time to waste), but I guess "all good things come to those who wait!"

I went to Dr Owsley for second opinion regarding ankle syndesmosis injury. First Othopedic surgeon I went to said that I did not need surgery. Dr. O disagreed with the first Orthopedic Surgeon and recommended that I have ankle surgery immediately if not sooner. He referred me to an ankle specialist, but the surgeon was outside of my coverage. He and his staff have help me navigate through the referral process to get a qualified ankle specialist for this surgery.

Dr. Owsley was precisely the doctor I'd always hoped I would have if I ever needed it. His bedside manner was impeccable while still telling me how it was; exactly how it should be. He was compassionate when I was scared I that I might not walk again and really worked to make me feel like everything was going to be okay. I can't give this doctor higher praise. He sometimes runs a little behind in appointments but from my experience it's because he's taking the extra time with his patient.

I had shoulder surgery in November 2014 and have 100% mobility back, I just had surgery on the meniscus of my left knee on December 3rd 2015 and getting better every day. Thank you Dr. Owsley and staff.
