Worst place and doc ever! This new guy that took over the practice is so inconsiderate it’s ridiculous. Instead of listening to the reasons why my PCP sent me here. Great listener and explainer!! I understand the way he is with pain meds, I'm here for injections!! When you are treated so nasty by as many people as he is daily it's not hard to understand his stance on narcotics. Great appointment and experience with him this morning!!!

Wish I could give "Dr." Tamirisa 0 stars... Was referred to him due to a back injury at 36yo (5mm disc bulge, DDD, DJD). My initial visit for diagnosis after a MRI, he seemed alright, though not exactly friendly or compassionate. I figured maybe he was just having a rough day. My more recent visit, however, I realized that wasn't the case. He was very rude and condescending, cut me off mid-sentence several times, and kept commenting about my "extremely poor posture" (the inflammation in my back was making me unable to stand fully upright, which is why I was there to begin with), as if implying that it was somehow to blame for my injury. Then, he went on a nearly 10 minute tirade about smoking/smokers (I'm an on/off smoker, to which he seemed personally offended by). After all that, he flat out refused to even look at my most recent MRI for comparison (from a year after the first one), saying that whatever the BWC doctor noted was "probably accurate" (it wasn't). Throughout everything, over nearly 3 years now, I've never asked for, or implied wanting, any narcotic prescription. I actually specifically told him and my other doctor on my first visits that I do NOT want to take any kind of habit-forming or state-altering drugs. (I work in/on/around equipment weighing up to 60,000 pounds, and other people, 12 hours a day). I went to him for help, not drugs, but he still very much treated me like I was just there looking to 'score'. Seeing the other reviews here now, I know I'm not alone in that sentiment. Worst doctor I ever had. Had two broken femurs and rods all the way down my leg. He refused to help told me it was because I was overweight that I wasn’t healing. AFTER LOSING 150 lbs and being hospitalized months. I was living in a rehab facility. Not empathic. Very rude and degrading.

This Dr. is the VERY MOST uncaring Dr. I have ever meet!! He treats everyone as if they are drug seeking! The worst ever! I honestly can’t believe Mercy keeps him around?! To be truthful I’d give him 0 stars! If your referred to him don’t do it!

He's been a good Doctor to me. Talks to me. Make sure I'm ok. Makes sure I have my med. If I need some he orders it.

Dr Tamirisa is a very kind and helpful doctor. He took his time with me answering all my questions and showing my MRI pictures to show what was going on. The office staff was wonderful also. So far a very good experience.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Dr K Tamirisa (if that’s what he can even be call) is the absolute worst. He is uncaring, ungiving and treats everyone like they are drug seekers. He never should have chosen to be a doctor let alone one who is supposed to help patients in chronic untreatable pain. He took a oath to help patients and works for a company that has a motto to help. He doesn’t deserve to be called a doctor. Dr.K. Tamarisa is a cold hearted man who should NOT be practicing pain management!!! I was on Morphine and Percocet. He cut me off cold turkey because I tried medical marijuana 2 days before my appointment. It showed up on their computer. I didn't know that would happen. I asked if i could have help weaning off. They said no and didn't care!! No compassion!! I was a faithful patient!! I called him 3 times to say I was dieing and they didn't care enough to call me back. Oh to be fair, my pharmacy called me to say they called in medicine for my stomach. DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR!!! He is heartless!! He doesn't know what he's doing!! The wife is excellent and great at listening. The staff is wonderful. However, the husband is definitely a hard person to deal with. He should have became a holistic doc instead cause he doesn't understand or care that there people who need this medication and won't abuse it

I had an epideral injection last year, 2016. only 1. It left my body in the ER at FCH. had a bad reaction to the meds., I then had to be taken to ST. LUKE'S hospital in their for about a month. Come to find out , when I came home from the hospital, I had an infection through out my body. Had to see a woumb care dr., and never again will I get another injection. And when I had called the office at st. charles to get a hold of him, I got no respond, even the nurses have tried , and same thing.

Dr. Tamirisa, between staring at the computer screen and interrupting what I was trying to say, made me feel very uncomfortable. His treatment plan seemed wholly inadequate, and he was unwilling to discuss the possibility of changing it: even though some parts of it had already been tried by my family physician, and failed miserably; which is why he referred me to Dr. Tamirisa in the first place. I have several concern, and though it's been year, he has yet to address any of them except one.

Dr. Kiran Tamirisa is one of the rudest doctors I've ever met. I'm not comfortable with having a spinal injection as he recommended, and offered no other alternative. He talked over me, had a rude tone, made a smart comment and walked out. I had no clue if he was going to look into something and come back, send a nurse in, or what. I waited a little bit, confused, and just left in tears because he was so rude and unprofessional. His staff is pleasant and courteous at least.
