Dr. Stephen has been one of my doctors for over ten years. She is a great person, and she and her staff are professional, efficient, yet never rushed and willing to take time to answer any questions patient’s might have, during an actual office visit or should a question arise at another time. My wife is now seeing Dr. Stephen as well and we are so very appreciative of Dr. Karen Schogel, our Internal Medicine doctor, for referring me to Dr. Stephen many years ago.

I had an excellent telehealth visit with Dr. Kristen Stevens. She listened and communicated clearly both her diagnosis and treatment plan for my homebound mother's skin issues. I would highly recommend her as a dermatologist.

I have seen Dr. Stephen for a few years. She is easy to talk to, answers all questions and is very thorough when examining my body. I would recommend her to someone looking for a dermatologist.

Seen at appointment time. Doctor was efficient and effective. Doctor asked questions and explained procedures. I was very satisfied with visit.

In my first visit with her, in late April, 2022, I found Dr. Stephen to be very impressive. First off, she graciously agreed to my request that she perform a full body scan for skin cancers (none found) even though the purpose of my visit was to seek treatment for rosacea. Second, Dr. Stephen knowledgeably and patiently answered all of my questions about the suspected cause of my condition, common aggravating factors and the purpose and modes of action of the drugs she prescribed as treatment. I am not the only patient who has ever encountered doctors who seem to have not even 30 seconds to listen to and answer my questions. Or the doctor who sits with his back to me, facing a computer screen and tapping the keyboard to enter data in forms required by the hospital system that owns the doctor's practice. Dr. Stephen's attentive, responsive manner is refreshing and inspires my confidence. Third, having been treated unsuccessfully by other dermatologists for rosacea over recent years I have seen the breath-taking rise in the price of the drugs commonly prescribed for rosacea. To her great credit, Dr. Stephen compounds in her clinic four active ingredients in a fully FDA-approved, customized formulation of face cream for this disorder. I paid about $45 at her check-out window for a three-month supply. Not long ago CVS quoted nearly $400 for a comparable supply of just two of the four active ingredients in her formulation. Bravo, Dr. Stephen. Fourth, every one of Dr. Stephen's office and clinical staff members whom I encountered were noticeably pleasant and seemed to be thoroughly competent, a welcome contrast to some medical receptionists I've met who demonstrate the bedside manner of a gum-chewing, patronage-hire clerk in Pittsburgh Traffic Court. I have been very pleased with the care that I have received over the past 10-15 years from Dr. Stephen. She is a kind, compassionate person and gives me a thorough exam. My only complaint is the long wait to get in to see her (this time I was smart and made my 2023 appt at check out) and then, the long (45 minutes +) time in the waiting room.

Always nice to have the appointment on time and a doctor who listens to your concerns. The office staff are organized and check in process is very efficient.

Exam is thorough and Dr. Stephen explains everything as she proceeds. Has caught several melanomas requiring surgical removal in the early stages over past 7 years. Really reinforces the importance bi-annual check-ups and early detection.

I was very pleased with my visit. Everyone I was in contact with were very careing. The exam was thorough.

Dr. Stephen takes time to address things, to ask how I’m doing, to explain the course of treatment. I feel like I’m being seen and heard. Can’t recommend her enough!

I went for a dermatological checkup and the entire time she examined me she made comments insinuating that I was stupid for not getting the Covid vaccine.

Very cold bedside manner. After three months waiting an appointment was only given ten minutes of the doctors time and answers to all of my question were curt and dismissed. I will definitely be looking for a new dermatologist.

The visit was very nice and very professional but I had a problem in June And could not be seen until October 11.... Not acceptable

She listen closely to you and is very kind also was willing to send something to insurance company to help me get skin removed from a area that was causing sores and cause of loose skin hanging from my big weight loss I highly recommend her !
