AWFUL! Stopped my care because I missed an appointment! Lousy concern for patient care

This guy is kind of a jerk. Was a bit condescending. Whole experience felt rushed, awkward and impersonal. Not rushed in a literal time sense but more like the guy looked like he would rather have been literally anywhere else, and like you were wasting his time. Oh and if you legitimately think a controlled substance might help you, find another psych that is interested in actually helping patients and not covering his you-know-what in the age of the Opioid Crisis®. I know, a tall order these days but worth it. I obviously can't say for sure, but I think the condescension/not taking me seriously bit *might* have been cause I'm female. No way to confirm but I work in an industry where I'm all-too-familiar with the type. So if you're female and especially young and female, just err on the side of caution and brace yourself for the runaround (as if we don't by default ????) This guy is kind of a jerk. Dr Frye is a very caring doctor. Listen to you and even calls after hours if you need to talk with him. Great doctor
