Mrs. Kristy J Magee

This physician roomed me herself. I had a 7:00 a.m. apt. She listens to everything I had to say and showed she cared. Love it here, because of her.

I have been going to Dr. Magee for years and love her as a doctor. She is kind, caring and compassionate but the office staff is absolutely horrible! I am not sure Dr Magee even knows this but something really needs to be done. The office staff needs to realize if they lose patients there is no need for them to have a job. From the moment they pick up the phone it sounds like you are bothering them to do their job. I now dread making an appointment and going to the office. Really disappointed!

Always receive the best care from Dr. Kristy. Never feel rushed and she always listens to you. Thank You!!!!

Made an appointment in December 2021, first avail was May 31, 2022. Never heard a confirmation so called today to confirm. They said they called me but I have no message that appointment was canceled because dr is on vacation. Next avail appointment is in November!????. How ridiculous!!!

Dr. MaGee is awesome, the admin staff here could care less if you existed. Have been coming here for years, same experience almost every visit. I walked in early for an appointment with my kids, signed in , not even a hello or good afternoon, no one even looked up. Wasn’t greeted in anyway. Have been sitting in lobby for 20mins with not a single comment or acknowledgement that we’re here. Some serious basic customer service training would be helpful. Dr. Magee is one of the most caring, intentional, knowledgeable doctors I have met. I am so thankful to be her patient. I have seen Dr. Magee multiple times since establishing care, and always feel like she truly hears me. I appreciate always feeling like I’m given treatment options. I have never felt rushed, and am always able to get all my questions answered. I did wait months to get my first initial physical/establish patient appointment. It was absolutely worth the wait, and I went to urgent care during that window of time while I waited. I appreciate that Dr. Magee is detailed with her exams. The staff at this office is also very friendly, and happy to help. The referral staff has gone above & beyond for me before to get an urgent referral in to a specialist I needed. Seriously Aug 3rd for a new patient appt and today is 3/25....

One of the best caring doctors that anyone can ask for.

I made an appointment with Dr. Kristy Magee, her hours changed, so I was bumped to the earliest, December 23rd. I specifically asked if the person booking the appointment was sure Dr. Magee was going to be IN TOWN as this is so close to the holidays. I was assured she would be. Now I made plans with my family, and called to cancel/reschedule my appointment. The rude young woman who answered the phone can't even find the appointment. I received no notification of its cancellation, and rather than offer to re-schedule, she 'nicely' hung up. If that's what I can expect from their business, I have NO problem going to another provider. No THANK YOU. The staff is extremely rude and unprofessional. They have no concept of customer service. Although Dr. Magee is nice, she acts disinterested. The last couple of times during my annual when I asked questions about medical issues I am having she cut me off, and left the room. It is difficult to get an appointment as the office schedules annual appointments out 6 months...even for patients that have been with her for over 15 years. Last year I was threatened by her staff that if I didn't accept the 7 am appointment on a day of their choosing, they would withhold my blood pressure medication. I went for a physical/new patient visit on Tuesday, December 1, 2020 the experience was 100% positive! I went to address some discomfort with my right hand on Friday, July 16, 2021. I was prescribed an anti-inflammatory, as of 3:31 PM Eastern time on Monday, July 19, 2021 his comfort is 99% gone. I was given a topical cream anti-inflammatory as well from samples, but I’ve only had to use that once. I called the receptionist Becky was very rude not nice about getting her messages across as if she has no time to be on the phone. I would not recommend any one to this office just from my experience calling in.

I cannot believe how rude the staff at this office is. I called to see if they accept new patients and she asked what insurance I had and said they do not accept and hung up on me. People are so rude these days and do not value their job! I am honestly shocked at how rude she was.

I have been trying to schedule a new patient appointment for my mother and I either get a busy signal, the phone rings and rings no one answers and you can’t leave a message or they pick up and hang up! I guess Dr. Magee won’t be my mothers doctor, time to look for someone else.

The Dr and the nurse are very kind when you are with them however getting any help outside of sitting in the patient room is near impossible. Its Oct and I cant even get an appointment until January? I have been a patient of Dr. Kristy Magee for years and I think she would be upset to know her office staff has not been helpful one bit. Dr Magee referred my mother to Dr Ahuja who has significantly dropped the ball in her care. When we call Dr. Magees office for assistance or ask to speak to Dr. Magee we are told they cant help. As other reviews, Doctor Magee is wonderful and her nurse is amazing as well. However, I don't think she would be happy to know that honestly her staff on the appointment scheduling side is awful. When you call to set an appointment it's as if it's a dreadful drag for Jasmine to book you. I dealt with a pain and discomfort because I myself dreaded having to speak to Jasmine. She cuts you off and can careless to care about your needs. If there was a way to schedule an appointment via portal, I'd gladly take that route. We decided to go to her after moving here from Colorado we had to wait a bit as a new patient but she was COMPLETELY worth that wait. I cant even get a prescription for my son's inhaler! The office staff is extremely rude. During both appointments I have had there for myself and my kids the front office employees are rude and snarky with the rest of nurse staff to the point that it makes it uncomfortable to be there. Then I have been calling for 2 weeks trying to get a prescription for one of my children and OVER and OVER I have called. Sometimes 10 times in a row. Sometimes they answer and hang up on you, pick up the phone but dont respond to you and eventually hang up or they dont answer at all. When someone does decide to speak to you they tell you no one is there to help and that I should call back and immediately hang up on me. Sadly the nicest interaction what when someone answer long enough to tell me they were sending me to a voicemail box. All I want to do is get his inhaler filled and then I will be happy to find somewhere that wants us as a patient.

I have been looking for a new primary care doctor for a year. Dr. Magee came Hickey recommended and I understand why. She listens, is engaging and truly takes her time to know you as individual. I live in Winter Park and she is worth the 35 minute drive time.

Dr Magee is very personable and takes time with her patient. I am new to her after De Quinn retired and she took the time to review my file before my appointment. I was very impressed with that. She is always reachable via email on the portal with a fast response. I highly recommend her!

It is with saddest regret that we will no longer be able to use the services that you provide because we are going on Freedom Advantage Medicare in September. We have learned that your company does not accept that medical health coverage. Dr. Kristy Magee has been our doctor for almost 10 years since we moved to the area. Should your company ever decide to have Freedom Advantage Medicare, we will return.

Not accepting new patients until March? It’s October!! It lists her as accepting new patients on her profile via BCBS, that’s definitely not the case if it takes 7 months to schedule a first visit. I’m very disappointed because she was highly recommended.

Yes! Finally found a wonderful primary care doctor after a long search since moving here from South Florida 5 years ago. Dr. Magee is genuinely compassionate, easy to communicate with and it is apparent that she is at the top of her game in the field of medicine.

Dr. Magee understands and honors my personal requests not to do certain things. But I know if she believes a thing is absolutely necessary, she will discuss it with me and try to convince me to take it on. As new patients who just relocated to this area, we made an appointment to see Dr. Kristy Magee. Staff took and recorded all of our notes about medications, health issues, and former doctors. Then we spoke with Dr. Magee, who took notes while we discussed our health with her. At the end of our visit, we were given information about the patient portal, how to get in touch with Dr.Magee, and referrals for each of the specialty doctors we needed to see for our health issues. I think this is going to be a good doctor partnership!

I had a well exam and Dr Kristy was very professional and knowledgeable. The reception area does need some help. I didn’t see anyone wipe off the pens or the flip boards before or after I used them. I had a wipe so I cleaned them before I used them. Hopefully someone will let them know what they should be doing. Thank you

Wow What a Great experience! Great attention to detail and concern. Dr Kristy Magee truly addressed every detail and issue and gets things done. I finally have a doctor who is genuinely putting the pieces together and truly listening and immediately got the ball rolling for referrals, labs and follow ups. She made me feel safe in trying to express the symptoms that sometimes are hard to explain but I felt she cared enough to listen and answer questions and guidance to better my health. I felt comfortable and genuinely cared for. Thank You Dr Magee and staff. OhThey also set up the patient portal and I immediately recieved calls to set up the appts. The nurses and staff that attended me were awesome and caring also. I'm very grateful to have found them.

Dr Kristy Magee is an excellent physician and I would recommend her under any circumstance. She’s been my physician for many years. I was especially impressed when I had my six month check up. The infection control protocol was closely followed and I felt very comfortable and safe from my time entering the building after my temperature was checked, throughout the exam and until my exit. I was told I have lung cancer. I do not have it and never have. It was written in my records. I switched to another doc. Dr Magee's office staff is awful. Have held on the phone for hours

Dr. Magee is wonderful but the office staff is not helpful. I've had several situations over the past few months with trying to get an appointment when sick. My daughter and I are both patients of hers and are rarely sick. My daughter just had a situation with arm pain and she went directly to the office. When she got there the office staff told her to go to urgent care. They told her because she didn't call at 8:30am that morning (she got there around 10:30am) that Dr. Magee would not see her. What do we need a family doctor for if they just send you to urgent care if you need more then a physical each year. My daughter was quite upset (she is 20) about the experience.
