Mr. Lance King Lassiter

Dr. Lassiter has been my Mother's oncologist since she received radiation therapy following a breast lumpectomy. He has always treated her with the utmost care and kindness. We completely trust him to provide her with the highest level of ongoing healthcare.

Dr. Lassiter and his staff are amazing. I can't say enough about how caring and supported I felt while going through chemo and treatment for breast cancer. Dr. Lassiter and his team literally saved my life and made me feel respected, cared for, and hopeful through the entire ordeal. If I could give them 10 stars I would!

I saw dr lassiter for a recent diagnosis of non hogkins lymphoma. He was nice enough and wanted a ct scan. I waited 3 weeks before his staff finally called me to tell me that they were out of network and of course had nothing scheduled. Three weeks! This is not good patient care! While I was waiting for them to decide to call. I was seen at Levine cancer Institute and in that 3 week time, had gotten a PET scan, bone marrow biopsy, a port placement and scheduled for chemo. That is the patient care that every patient deserves! When I told the girl who finally called from Dr Lassiter Novant office, how poorly managed my care was, she stated that they dont call their patients back until they can schedule them and was rudely talking over me. I am thankful that I didn't end up putting my health in these people's hands. Also did I mention that my PET scan tevealed that I was incorrectly diagnosed by Dr Newman at Novant in 2013, when he told me that I didn't have cancer! That 1 cm area

It starts with the warm and friendly receptionist. Then I had my vitals taken and some friendly conversation. Dr. Lassiter came in very soon after and was very warm,explaining what my issue was and what needed to be done. I think he is a very good doctor and would recommend him to anyone. This is why I did not give five stars. Although I was told that I would be called when my test results came back, they came on my Novant Health page; the call did not. This happened twice. There is some kind of disconnect between the results being sent and the office calling to explain what they mean and what happens next. In the end, things worked out and then a test and follow-up visit were booked without my input. Despite these mix-ups, I still think that Doctor Lassiter is well worth seeing. Excellent Providers and staff. Always caring for each of their patients compassionately. So Blessed to have an awesome team caring for those fighting Cancer!

He is very personable, understanding, easy to talk to, up to date on latest research and treatments, spends time with patients, answers questions thoroughly, positive and re-assuring attitude. His staff is pleasant as well.

Dr. Lassiter is truly one of the kindest and most compassionate doctors I have ever met. I have been under his care since January 2017 and could not be more grateful for his way of caring for patients. He always takes time to listen to my thoughts and asks me for my opinions on next steps of treatment. He has the best nursing staff and infusion nurses ever. Truly, you become part of a family with this team. A cancer diagnosis changes many things in someone's life. This group of medical professionals is a treasured group. I could not imagine going through this journey without the help of this care team. They have my highest recommendation! I have been a Breast Cancer Patient of Dr. Lassiter since 2011. He has always treated me with the upmost respect and care toward my cancer treatment. He is well trained on advanced treatment options and also is willing to work with second consult teams to help make the best treatment decisions. I have never been rushed at a single appointment and he has the best nursing team that make you feel like you are their number one patient in regard to office visits and after hour needs. I really appreciate Dr. Lassiter and give him my trust and support 100%. Thank you for my medical care and keeping me alive these last 7 years. You are A+++++. This individual is not personable at all, he makes people feel like they are a number and a guinea pig. I would not recommend him at all. He clearly doesn't know how to listen to the needs of his patients and what what would make them comfortable during their visit.

I would not recommend this oncologist at all. He is not personable and clearly doesn't know how to speak with people according to his needs and he acts as though your personal information is for their use only. If I were you I would find someone else who is a better fit.
