All my visits with Dr. Lance are professional, yet walked through with kindness, honesty, some needed humor, and much grace. Dr. Lance has so much knowledge, yet he keeps the language and learning on a level of understanding I can learn and grow from. His most genuine character, compassionate heart, and head, work so harmoniously for the good of all. I’ve know Dr. Lance since 2004. He’s helped me over many mountains throughout different seasons in my life. He has taught me a lot about how brain chemicals work in relation to the daily grind of mental health. He is very present and engaged in every concern I offer. He is a gift and a treasure to all, who are blessed to grow with him. Christy, his wife too, is s gem, and keeper of the fort, with the best of cookies for all. ??????????

Dr. McDonald is caring, professional, and helpful. I appreciate that he reminds me of where we were at our last visit by reading my notes aloud. It was enlightening to spend one session reviewing the past year; I was able to see the progress that I've made over time. He is mainly cognitive behavorial in approach but never dogmatic. I appreciate his humor and insight.

When you (the patient) know more about his family than he knows about your family, there is something wrong. He spends the first part of the session reading a word-for-word summary of the last visit as if he hasn't read his notes before your arrival. This exercise benefits him -not the patient. By keeping to his 50 minute session without helping the patient come back to an emotionally balanced state, he leaves patients very emotionally vulnerable. Limited expertise and marginal professionalism.
