Dr Mikul is a very caring doctor and is nurse is just as caring. So very sad that he is not in Calera anymore, it was so convenient. Driving out to Jemison is no problem since he is such a good doctor with an amazing staff!

HIS STAFF IS A CIRCUS RUN BY INCOMPETENT PEOPLE WHO NEED TO BE TRAINED.THEY ARE DIFFICULT TO REACH BY PHONE FOR MED REFILLS BY BOTH ME & PHARMACIST.WHAT ARE LARRY MIKUL & THE WOMEN IN THE OFFICE DOING THAT THEY CAN'T ANSWER PHONE/ RETURN VM? IM A DIABETIC;MY MEDS AREN'T A HOBBY.IF MIKUL CHECKS MY LIVER,BLOOD SUGAR,& A1C LEVEL-I WASN'T TOLD WHAT IT WAS. A "NURSE" MAGICALLY DREW BLOOD FROM A BAD VEIN. BOTH LOCATIONS LOST LEAVE OF ABSENCE PAPERS! HE'S A LAPTOP DOC.I DONT TRUST HIM.UNPROFESSIONAL

The doctor and staff are very friendly. They give you access to your patient portal, which is totally useless. The portal never shows any medical records, visits, etc. Very disappointed that they do not even bother to transfer information to the portal. I have sent messages through the patient portal & never got any answers.

I never saw the Doctor I had to see the nurse. She was always rude, degrading and never helped. She always insisted on sending me out to other offices and blamed me for not bringing all my medical records with me. She would not do lab work just once. She insisted on several trips and charged me office visits each time milking insurance. Again I warn you. They will use the Doctors name then ask you to see the nurse. If you don't want to be treated like a child don't go. She is a horrible woman.

I have used Dr, Miikul for approximate 4 years and he explains in medical terminology and then in everyday communication, so I can understand the problems and what is necessary to take care of the illness. I trust Dr. Mikul and would recommend him to others.

Was very pleased with my recent visit to Dr. Mikul at the Calera office. He was easy to talk to and listened carefully to my concerns. He seemed to genuinely care and answered all my questions.

I saw Dr. Mikul at BBH in Calera for the first time and I must say it was a great feeling. He's easy to talk to and he shows genuine concern for his patients. I truly believe we're going to have a good rapport with one another. Welcome to Calera Dr. Mikul.

Dr. Mikul took more time with me than any doctor I've seen in 30 plus years. He actually still doctors instead of just a referral. I'm happy to call him my new GP.

He is compassionately honest. He listened to everything I had to say thoroughly and never cut me off. Too many doctors seem to rush through and cut you off.
