Dr Bossong is kind and you can tell he really cares about his patients. I had all my wisdom teeth pulled and had a good experience. Thank you so much Dr Bossong!

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Bossong and his staff. They were very professional and kind. My extraction was quick and painless, I'd say they know what their doing!!! I would recommend.

Fantastic staff. A great Dentist. Everyone was very helpful and knowledgeable about my extraction. Dr. Bossong went over ever detail before starting and made sure I knew which tooth he was taking out, and even showed me the X-Ray of which one it was. He also made sure I was numbed and then carefully removed my tooth which had broken in more than two pieces. And before I left everyone made sure that if I had any problems or questions to call them immediately. Thank you so much for all that was done.

I had 3 teeth pulled out by Dr. Bossong. He is an excellent provider and his staff is wonderful too. I have really bad dental anxiety, everyone in that office was so kind and reassuring to me. They made it so easy and I went to sleep for procedure and when I woke up it was all done. The nice nurse walked me out to my husbands truck and just couldn't do enough for me. I noticed also how kind they were to other patients too. That really made such an anxiety inducing ordeal for me turn into being so relaxing. Highly recommend! My wife had to cancel her appointment today and she was told she could not re-schedule another appointment because it was her 2nd cancelation. The first one, THEY told her to stay home because she was exposed to Covid. The staff were also very rude when speaking with her. How is that for customer service? Find another oral surgeon.

Dr. Bossong is a great oral surgeon. He’s very good at what he does. I was done in 45 minutes. The staff there are great too.

I am giving Dr. Bossing (and staff) a 5 star review because they deserve it. I would give them a 10 star if possible. They were ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!!! I had to have surgery to remove several badly injured broken teeth, I was in pain and honestly quite scared (about the pain and also about having the procedure) but, Dr. Bossong and team were able to reassure me and make me comfortable about it. I was put to sleep, but I can say I had no bad experience or bad memories after. I would recommend this office and especially for anyone with dental anxiety. They are a lifesaver. Literally! I would avoid Dr. Bossong's services at all costs. His office staff are rude (including name calling and vulgar language) and unethical, and he knowingly overcharges for services beyond rates allowed by insurance companies. He has actually tried to negotiate refund payments to customers to keep some profits after over charging. Spend some time and find a different/better office to go to! The staff is so friendly and helpful. I have never had a bad experience and I have been coming to see him for a few years. Yes I have Mainecare and I still get treated with respect.

The reviews are true, the receptionist is worth not dealing with this office. Dr. is fine, hopefully the receptionist figures out what her trauma is.

Dr Bossong himself is fine. The support staff at the front desk not so much. Guess it is Maine charm (or lack thereof) . From incredibly long waits on hold to calling me and demanding to know where I was when I was 5 minutes late due to being stuck behind school buses the approach could stand improvement. I hope Dr Bossong is reading these reviews.

HORRIBLE OFFICE STAFF!!! I found the receptionist to be VERY rude - EVERY time I call there, whether it's for me or my husband. I missed an appointment today (my husband made the appointment for me months ago - forgot to tell me the date/time) - and I was told that because I missed the appointment, Dr. Bosong would not see me in the future. I've never met anyone that works with the public that is as rude as this woman is.

Karen the receptionist is very rude and confrontational! Even threatened to cancel our appointment.

I can't even give this place a 1 star. I will say first and foremost this review isn't regarding the actual surgery that my child received, but it is regarding the SERVICE and the way that the office staff treats their patients. My husband brought my daughter, who he has legally been the father of since she was 2 years old, in to have 4 teeth pulled. We have never had an issue in the past regarding him signing for her (for anything, surgeries included), but because he mentioned the word "step-dad" in the office, they stopped everything they were doing and practically kicked him and my daughter out of the office. He said that they were very rude and basically made him feel horrible with the way they treated them. He wasn't aware that he was supposed to bring in legal papers saying that he is my daughter’s father! I called the office back and asked if we could reschedule (its 1.5 hours away from where we live, and he wasted a whole day bringing her). When I asked about rescheduling someone told me that they didn't even see her in the system, and they would have to look into it, and get back to me. I waited until the following week, and once I still didn't have a response I decided to contact them again. To my surprise the woman who answered the phone said that her chart had a "do not reschedule" sticker on it, from the doctor. I asked why they wouldn't be able to reschedule, it wasn't like we missed the appointment or stood them up, we just simply wasn't aware that they were going to make us bring in legal paperwork showing that my husband can sign for my daughter. If he had never mentioned that he wasn't her biological or "blood" father, this would have never been an issue. I have never EVER had to prove I am the legal mother! She then asked me what insurance my daughter has and then stated "Oh, MaineCare? I don't even know when we're doing Mainecare appointments again, it won't be for a while, and the doctor isn't allowing us to schedule you again." Right there, I knew that it was definitely because my child has MaineCare, because if she had regular dental insurance and I was paying out of pocket they totally would have been eager to reschedule her appointment. I then asked if I could speak with someone higher than her and she told me there was one other girl in the office I could speak with, but she would tell me the exact same thing. The next woman gets on the phone and right from the start had a very rude demeanor with me. I explained what was going on and asked why we couldn't reschedule because of a mistake so simple. She then asked me a bunch of questions and continuously cut me off every time I was trying to explain what happened. I was beyond frustrated at this point. She continued to ask if my husband has legal right to sign for my daughter, I explained to her for the 3rd time that yes he does, he adopted her when she was 2. She practically called me a liar and said that he told them he didn’t have legal rights to her, which was NOT true, he said he didn’t have anything proving he could legally sign for her (which he didn’t bring). She then argued with me for a little while longer and placed me on hold. When she came back she said that she would make an exception and reschedule my daughter, but I had to bring in proof. How is that even legal? I have the proof and I can't wait to rub it in their faces! I don't know if the actual Doctor is better with people skills, but it makes me nervous to even have my child go under anesthesia here! I have had multiple appointments at this office. Been a patient through multiple extractions, etc.... now because I was upset when they turned me down because I had mainecare and needed a cancerous spot cut out of my mouth, I made it clear that I was upset and it felt very personal as to why they were refusing me due to being on mainecare... so, we ended the phone call with no appointment. Today I called to set up appt for later date and am on a “do not book” list because a staff member took our conversation personally and Instead of leaving it professional, she basically made it so I can no longer be seen because she didn’t like the point I made during our conversation. So beware that if you’re treated unfairly, or don’t like something and if you say anything to them about it or ask them about it, they’ll kick you out so you can’t have treatment anymore. Very unprofessional :/ sucks too because the doctor is great! But his receptionist can’t keep things professional. “Amy” is her name. I have had multiple appointments at this office. I brought my friend there and she said the dentist and staff were very kind caring and her entire experience of being put to sleep to have a tooth pulled was pain free. Highly recommend this place!!

Literally prescribed me medication I repeatedly told then I wad allergic to. Had the receptionist threaten me on the phone. Terrible all around.

In the past I have had several teeth extracted and for some reason there was always a fair amount of pain involved. Whether from the dentist's incompetence or my resistance to the lido-cane, I am uncertain. I went in yesterday to have the #30 molar extracted and from the injection to the extraction, I never felt a thing. If there is such a thing as a pleasant experience with having a tooth removed, this was it. The staff was so pleasant and courteous, it was almost unbelievable. They do whatever they can to make the patient calm and comfortable. Dr. Bossong explained everything as he went. No surprises. He answered any and all questions and showed me exactly what he was going to do. I do recommend this gentleman to anyone, especially if you have a fear of the dentist's office, and that chair... Called to schedule but office was so rude I declined to make an appointment.

This Dentist only does patients once a year that need to be AWAKE! Need one tooth yanked since October and he won’t because I have to be awake. Sounds fishy to me. Sounds to me he wants them unconscious for a reason! Touchy Feely or what? He obviously don’t care for his patients.

Upon calling our insurance company, we were told they were no longer "in network". Think they ever notified us of their intentions? Nope. Think they were at all willing to reach a compromise on the disputed differences? Nope. No sign on the door, no letter in the mail - no mention in person. Amazing doc , in and out quick, no pain Very plesant experience, doc and staff are awesome

I was so scared to get that needle in my arm that puts you to sleep and Dr. Bossong and his aid made me feel at ease. Everyone in the office is pleasant. A great experience all around considering... Thank you Dr. Bossong!!

My husband has had to come here twice for various dental issues and the doctor and staff have all been friendly, efficient and overall wonderful. I’ve been tonother oral surgeons in the past and I would definitely recommend this office.

I live out of the country for 6-7 months and do not have a dentist in Brunswick. I cracked a wisdom tooth and was suffering with unbelievable pain. My search for relief led me to Dr Bassong who accepted me on the same day I went in and not only extracted the tooth but did it painlessly. All the staff were extremely helpful and pleasant which made the total experience the best day of my summer residency. Brunswick is fortunate to have to have Dr Bassong’s medical expertise. Excellent care for a friend who needed immediate care!

Dr. Bossong and his team are absolutely amazing. My wife had a horrible experience with another dental surgeon where she was aware of what was happening and she felt the whole thing. She was extremely hesitant to do another oral surgery. I found positive reviews for Dr. Bossong we decided to give him a try. I am so glad we did! We explained the situation to him and he was so compassionate and reassuring. She has now had 2 great experiences, and she won't go to anyone else for oral surgery.

Best place to get rid of a troublesome molar.

Everything went smoothly for my wisdom teeth removal. Great doctor

This was the most unorganized medical practice I've ever experienced in my life. At my daughter's consultation, they were completely unprepared. She was scheduled for surgery and they didn't have the correct insurance information. The administrative assistant was shouting out people's names and I heard Sarah with an "h's" care credit information. Even with all of their screw-ups, wasting my time, and making my daughters anxiety through the roof, they wouldn't work with me on a payment.

The receptionist are completely rude! I called with an emergency needing wisdom teeth removed due to extreme amounts of pain and the woman on the other end of the phone was beyond rude to me. Bossong himself is great but his office workers are miserable! I was a little rude back and they will not even except me as a patient at all now. (Treat others as you would want to be treated) I was in tears on the phone and was treated like trash. No sympathy at all. The receptionist are completely rude! Hands down the most amazing place to go the atmosphere is so comfortable very very relaxing place.

Literally just got done oral surgery a few hours ago. He is by far the best oral surgeon ever. Everyone in the office makes you feel comfortable from the moment you walk in to when you leave. Dr. Bossing is the best too! He has great bedside manor.

Dr Bossing explained everything in detail. Friendly and caring staff! Karen does a wonderful job and makes you feel very comfortable. Cindy was fabulous! Will definitely recommend to others

Dr. Bossong was pleasant, very gentle and a wonderful dentist. Unfortunately, I will never go there again as his secretary is a liar. I was told by my insurance company that I only pay 20% and she claimed that I was only paying that amount. She talked through the signing of my credit card slip, so I did not notice that she charged me 30% and did not include the full amount of the service so that I could check the amount to see if I was overcharged. I cannot recommend this agency. Sad....

He was extremely friendly and skilled. Wisdom tooth removal took about 10 minutes (they were partially out). Very pleasant experience!

Hands down the most surprisingly delightful experience. I sincerely dreaded having this procedure done and not only Dr. Bossong but Missy at the counter and the rest of the staff were amazing... and amazing really doesn't even remotely do them any justice. Back to work in a day and a half. In and out very quickly and I really feel like they had my best interests in mind. Didn't hesitate to help me with the pain which is already starting to subside.
