Dr. Lawrence Brian Laveman

Doctor Laveman encouraged me to let my childs mother do aba therapy in Pennsylvania. Because the services were "better". My son came home with bruising on his back and a black eye. My child was taken from the mothers home. When i called the office to get a new script for Nj. They were unresponsive. While my child suffers. Dont go to him if he is the last doctor available.

He seemed like he wanted to help at first but We have had to practically beg this doctor to change meds for our child. He also didn’t remember correct family pregnancy history.,Keeps referring us to places which are short staffed and not near our home. He is an older doctor who doesn’t want to be told what to do. He is nice as long as you agree with him. If your child has Autism better go someplace else. He would rather be right then do the right thing.

We've had several visits for my child. Dr. Laveman frequently doesn't listen and makes poor assumptions. He jumps to conclusions and interprets information wrong. He is not careful about making negative statements about my child in front of my child.

Withholds information and then blames families rather than take responsibility for errors made by him and his office. Very condescending with parents.

He doesn't listen. He speaks when you are talking to him and asks questions before you have a chance to answer the previous question. I detected a little silent contempt when I want able to answer one of his questions. On top of that he didn't even introduce what was going to be talked about during the examination.
