Dr. Phan took the time to answer all my questions and provided options with short and long term solutions to my questions. I don’t remember the last time I was happy leaving a dentist office until my recent visit with Dr. Phan.

My experience with Dr. Phan was exceptional. I was visiting Boston from out of state and had a problem with a molar that was worsening. Doris, his incredible assistant, was so empathetic and got me an appointment very quickly. Dr. Phan evaluated me and sent me on to an oral surgeon that extracted the tooth. I was impressed with Dr. Phan’s professionalism and the compassion of his staff. I was very anxious and his dental assistant stayed with me until I was calm enough to leave the office. I was recently referred to Dr. Phan, and I am so thankful. I went in with a problem that he fixed quickly and skillfully. Top notch office. All the staff from front desk to Dr. Phan was welcoming, helpful, and professional. They made a difficult situation a positive experience. I look forward to my next cleaning! Great office

I found Dr. Lawrence Phan to be the most knowledgeable and understanding prosthodontics I have ever used. I would rate his dental techniques and staff A+.

Dr. Phan is great! I went in for a couple of small fillings, and I felt completely comfortable with how I was treated. I definitely would recommend!

I am a patient of Dr Phan and his team since 6 years. It all started with an emergency very well handled and I keep coming here even though I moved out from Brookline. The service is friendly, of top quality and Dr Phan speaks French which is a very big plus for me, English not being my first language.

I have never in my life had a more pleasant and professional experience with a dentist — or any medical practice for that matter. Dr Phan and every single person on his staff has always been kind to me, welcoming, helpful, professional, informative and trustworthy. I don’t often leave reviews but I just love it here so much that I want other people to know & have the same experience! I can’t say enough good things. Also, their safety precautions for COVID made me feel very safe. They screen all patients, take all patients and measure their oxygen levels before being seen & the staff do the same. Dr Phan is amazing! I was referred to him after months of cellulitis of my face treated by months of antibiotics. I had seen more than half a dozen dentists an ENT specialists. Nobody could figure out the cause of the problem. None could solve the problem. Dr Phan figured it out during my first visit and quickly put me on a treatment plan which successfully resolved the problem. He is very approachable, gentle and kind. Dr. Phan has been my dentist for over 10 years now. Cannot ask for better, it has truly been a pleasure to be a part of this office. Its always clean, hygienist know what they're doing, staff is friendly and most of all my personal dental hygiene has improved tremendously. Thank you!!

Dr. Phan is the best dentist I have ever had. I have been a patient for over 20 years. He is extraordinarily competent and talented. His office, especially now, is run like a surgical room. Safety and patient care are prioritized and the personnel are all friendly, helpful and excellent at their jobs.

I would not go to any other dentist. Dr. Phan and his personnel are truly wonderful, responsive and highly skilled. The best!

I have been going to Dr. Phan for many years and he’s always been wonderful as well as his staff. However, lately I had a minor dental emergency in the middle of the whole Covid quarantine issue and he was extremely responsive, he had very good protection measures in place at the office and I was really appreciative that he is my dentist.As a medical professional myself I highly recommend him. I recently had my initial appointment with the hygienist & meeting Dr. Phan. I was impressed. Lisa was wonderful & very thorough. Dr. Phan spent some valuable time with me with lots of recommendation for good dental hygiene & was extremely pleasant & professional. I will be using his practice going forward.

I've been a patient for four years before moving out-of-state and had an excellent experience. Everyone in the office from the receptionist to Dr. Phan was always professional. Zero problem and my teeth improved. The only negative I can think of is that Dr. Phan was not in the office the last two times I did teeth cleaning, so wasn't able to do a quick exam. During my last few appointments, Dr. Phan spent almost no time examining my teeth after the cleaning. The last time was particularly bad. After the cleaning, Dr. Phan came in like he was in a rush (he was in the middle of a procedure with someone else), took a 5 second scan through my teeth, and said I needed some very serious/expensive work on a region of my mouth, and started to leave. The dental hygienist was surprised because she didn't see any problems with that region during the cleaning, and the X-rays didn't show anything. He then quickly left before I could ask any questions, without offering any explanation of what made him see this region as a problem, and he certainly didn't spend any time talking through any of the options. On my way out, I asked the person at the front desk, she said it would cost about $4K. Because I didn't get any information from Dr. Phan himself, I started asking her questions about the procedure, particularly why it was necessary, she said she would talk to Dr. Phan and would get back to me that day—she didn't. Then I called a few days later to speak with Dr. Phan directly, she said he would call me by the end of the day—I heard nothing by the end of the day, so I called back myself, Dr. Phan already left. So of course I got 2 second opinions, both saw my teeth and X-rays and said that there aren't any problems with that region, and that I don't need any of that work. That was months ago, and that region is still perfect. To summarize: Dr. Phan said I need major/expensive work on a region of my mouth that multiple other dentists said I actually didn't need. This would be about $4K worth of unnecessary/painful work. He didn't offer any discussion about his logic for why it needed work, and certainly didn't spend a second talking about options. Dr. Phan said I need major/expensive work on a region of my mouth that multiple other dentists said I actually didn't need. This would be about $4K worth of unnecessary/painful work. He didn't offer any discussion about his logic for why it needed work or about options. This place has always been very expensive compared to the literally hundreds of other good options out there, but it has gone very downhill with Dr. Phan's lack of service, and he lost all my trust during my last visit.

Dr. Phan is, far and away, the best dentist I’ve ever seen. He’s incredibly meticulous and his work is perfect — think, a Swiss watchmaker. He presents treatment options and he typically urges the most conservative (i.e., least intrusive) option wherever possible. If a treatment involves an endodontist (root canal) or other specialty, he stays involved and quarterbacks the project. I moved fifty miles away and my wife, my daughter and I would let no one else handle our treatment. I know of patients who live even further away from Brookline who travel in to see him. His hygienists are also first-rate. Finally, his billing folks make dealing with insurers as easy as possible by making sure everything is addressed. Dr Phan is amazing. My father, parents, and brothers all go see him. We have all had experiences where we were seeing another dentist who either gave us bad advice or messed something up and Dr Phan corrected the issue.
