Lawrence Santora

Had a Lexiscan in May with nausea, terrible back pain, felt like my thighs were tearing apart & short of breath. Dr. Santora was called & I had 100mgm Aminophylline injected after 3 attempts to start an IV. Also used my Albuterol inhaler. My Oncologist wants a detailed report but when I called was told that I could not speak with the Dr. I was told that the office manager was in charge. I am a cardiac nurse & worked at the old Santa Ana Hospital in the 1970’s when he came from New York. The office manager refuses to contact me even though I have cancer & need more scans done. I started the OC Stroke Line in 1984 while working as a neurological researcher at UCIMC. We were happy to give stroke patients all their records. I will never go back to this doctor. Excellent!

Saw Dr. Santora twice; trusted what he had to say; however, my scheduled appointments were cancelled twice and I was not offered a reschedule date. I called to try to reschedule due to persistent irregular heartbeats, left a message and my call has not been returned. At this time, I only have Medicare. I asked the receptionist if this was the problem, but was transferred to a voice mailbox; still no reply. Hoped for perhaps a referral to a doctor who might takes Medicare patients.

Dr Santora has been my cardiologist for more than 10 years !
