He may not be all warm and cuddly, but he is very professional and factual. Explained treatments and procedures very thoroughly. I have not had my surgery yet but it is scheduled soon and I feel I am in good hands with Dr. McFadden

Very knowledgable, caring, and available for questions. Explained surgery briefly but well. Cares about me as a person, not just as a broken ankle. Congenial personality.

Very matter of fact. My X-ray may have made diagnosis and plan easy. He said total knee replacement whenever I felt ready. Did it June 19, 2017. Two day hospital stay. Today, seventeen days later, staples out. Used narcotics occasionally until few days ago, then only naproxyn 440mg twice daily. Phycical therapist agrees with me and Dr Mcfadden that result seems fine and normal. Apparently he did a craftsmanlike job - just what I wanted.

Not too much care or compassion. Sort of a "get em' in and shove em' out" approach. MRI couldn't identify my problem so out the door I went with no further options offered. I'm still in pain. Got the feeling he thought I was making up my symptoms and he was sort of arrogant and dismissive.

I felt like he was a workmens comp Doctor. It was all about take a shot and get back to work. Felt like I was getting a generic response instead of a personalized diagnosis. Not much compassion about pain.

Dr. McFadden prescribed me a negligable dosage of Aleve that triggered major health problems including one that will require surgery and lifelong treatment.
