Leonard Jerome Astrauskas

I have been a patient for almost two decades since Dr. Astrauskas arrived in Kent & Sharon and have been very pleased with all aspects of his practice. His staff is profession and very helpful. There is almost no waiting time. He listens carefully, is thorough, answers questions and never gives the impression of being rushed. Dr. Astrauskas knows when a specialist is required and makes good recommendations.

If I could leave no stars I would but not an option. He is arrogant and misses many important health issues. He is not thorough and over books patients. He used to be a good doctor. He needs to retire.

Dr. Astrauskas has been my doctor for a long, long, time. Not only is he incredibly knowledgeable and kind, but he takes the time to listen to you. He was the only doctor who correctly diagnosed my father 15 years ago when my father was only supposed to live less than 2 or 3 years. My father is alive today because of Dr. Astrauskas. I used to see him when I lived in Kent, but I now drive 35 miles to see him. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Astrauskas. Sincerely, Ron Lawrence

Honestly interested in patient, thorough

Dr. Astrauskas always addresses my issues in a timely manner. If I need a return phone call, he gets back to me with care and concern. He is an approachable doctor who listens to the patient. He always is kind and respectful. I would recommend him 100%. He seems very knowledgeable about the medicine he practices. I am also a nurse, and I've met many doctors. Dr. Astrauskas is a 10 out of 10.

I have been seeing Dr. Astrauskas for 8 years now. He is a patient doctor who is will go above and beyond to help his patients. He always listens to concerns, and he will refer you to other physicians if something is out of his realm.

I am a stroke survivor from N.Y.S..Original appt. was cancelled. My records req. not processed, I agreeded to reschedlue. Unable to find 29 Hospital Hill Rd. Called the office 10 minutes before the apointment , told them could not locate building. Building had no number to i.d. it. Finally was asked paper shredder man where #29 was. Now I needed to find the office. Another guessing match. Finally get to the office, told I was late would need to reschedule. Level of empathy and competence=ZERO

website continually says he is accepting new patients - but after numerous attempts keep learning he is not accepting new patients and office tries to encourage you to sign up with someone else in his office. very frustrating.
