For 30 years, Dr. Gilbert has been my dentist. From kindergarten to today, she has always used a gentle touch and gone out of her way to make excellent recommendations along the way to keep my smile beautiful. I couldn't be happier to have her as my dentist! That's why when I lived away at college that I made sure to plan my appointments to get in to see her while I was home. She is incredibly patient and thorough. She stops frequently during procedures (such as when she did my crown) to make sure I felt okay and didn't feel any pain. I've even received follow up to make sure everything was going well days afterward. Her team is exceptionally friendly as well! Everyone on staff always take time to get to know their patients and know many of them by name without checking the schedule to see who is walking in. They gave me Arestin while I was breastfeeding (They were aware) without informing me it was a "cycline" drug which is contraindicated in infants/ children. I only found out AFTER it was already placed in my gum pocket and I looked up the drug info!! They tried to blow it off saying it was such a small dose and was localized, but it wasn't their children's teeth in jeopardy. THEY SHOULD HAVE TOLD ME BEFORE AND LET ME MAKE THE DECISION TO TAKE THE RISK!! Needless to say my breast feeding days were over because I had to pump and dump for 30 days per pediatrician and then my supply tanked. I took my entire family next door to Dr. Knotek and have never looked back!!! I’ve been going to Dr. Gilbert’s Office for many years, and I love her and everyone that works there. They do a great job keeping my teeth and gums healthy. I also love how they take the time to connect with my littles. Last time we were there they even cleaned my son’s toy dinosaur’s teeth!
