First thing I want to say is that everyone that works here is very kind and welcoming. The reason I do not recommend going here is because they make you pay for everything upfront and have insurance reimburse you. This can be difficult for people that do not make a lot of money, such as teachers like myself. For example, in December they told me it was going to be $200 for my x-rays and cleaning. I told them I did not have the money at the time and to schedule the x-rays for my next visit (I just had a baby less than a month before this appointment so money was tight). I just went in today and had the x-rays done and when I went to pay it was now $303. The reasoning is because they have a new way to x-ray apparently that is done every five years. Instead of explaining this price difference beforehand and asking me if I wanted it, they just did it and expected me to be able to pay $303 out of pocket. On top of that they told me that I should schedule another appointment to have a filling redone. The only problem with this is I’ve never had a filling, so there is no filling to be redone. She checked my charts and saw that I have not had a filling but insist there must have been one that wasn’t marked. Like I stated upfront, Lisa is very kind and professional and the new dentist working with her is also very kind, but my last two visits with the new dentist has my family and me looking for a new and more adorable place that will take insurance upfront.
