Dr. Lisa Marie Connolly

My wife will put in maybe one or two requests per year to Dr Connolly and she is an absolute mega pro at putting off appointments, making sure you don't get the medicine you need as well as forgetting things you discuss during appointments and after reminding her. I have never seen a less attentive doctor in my life.

This doctor should lose her license to practice. She was my mother’s PCP for about 15 years, and was her primary while she quit smoking about 10 years ago after undergoing polyp removal. Knowing her smoking history, not once did she order a CT scan to check on her lungs. Even after my mother had difficulty breathing a few years ago, Dr. Connolly didn't order a scan to get a closer image of her lungs. Suddenly last fall at only 68, my mother had signs of rapid cognitive decline w/ word finding difficulty. With Dr. Connolly as her PCP, we didn't have a chance. Rather than making a referral for a neurologist as one would expect, Dr. Connolly prescribed her Zoloft! When I arrived from California, I questioned her prescription and accompanied my mother for a follow up visit where Dr C claimed it was just work related stress and I had to push for an MRI. It took us about a month to two to get a proper diagnosis. She prescribed Zoloft for what turned out to be lung cancer that had metastasized to my poor mother's brain. Even though she was hospitalized in 2016 for breathing problems, at no point did Dr. Connolly put an order in for a CT scan to see images of her lungs. My mother said Dr. C rushed appointments and dismissed her concern about breathing difficulty telling her, “well you did smoke for a long time.” My mom passed away on August 22nd. Had her doctor tracked things better and showed more care for her patient, this might have been avoidable before it metastasized. This doctor should lose her license to practice. I hate to give her 5 stars because I don't want her to become so 'in demand' that it's hard for me to get an appointment. That being said, I can't NOT give her 5 stars. She's wonderful! Has seen me thru thick and thin (literally), and thru both good and terrible... She's eased my concerns and carried me thru some pretty crummy things. I'm grateful she has been a big part of my healthcare team for (wow, must be at least) 20 years and I pray she never retires. Thank you Dr. Connolly for your compassion, your common sense and your professional 'friendship' for all these years. <3

Knowing she had been a longtime smoker, not once did she order a CT scan to check her lungs. Last fall my mother was showing signs of rapid cognitive decline w/ word finding difficulty and reading at only 68 yrs old. Dr Connolly simply prescribed Zoloft, which I felt was way off. I accompanied her for a follow up visit and Dr C claimed she knew my mother and thought it was just work related stress so I had to push for an MRI. After thoroughly reviewing her records I discovered the signs were there of a breathing problem from at least 2016, but completely ignored by this negligent doctor. Doctor Connolly is the best PCP I have ever had. She really cares, listens and is truly compassionate. I would highly recommend her to my family and friends. She has also surrounded herself with a great staff that have the same mentality.

Absolutely love Dr. Connolly and her staff. They have always been there for our family no matter what the problem is. Very caring and understanding. Linda W

Dr.Connolly is a very good doctor, when you get a chance to see her. It's one of the most impossible things in the world to get an appointment with her. I was having trouble with my ear and they told me it would be about 6 weeks for an appointment. This isn't the first time I was told I would have to wait for a long time. Insane
