Dr. Lisa Dianne Mihora

From the initial visit through the surgery, Dr. Mihora and her staff were incredible. Took the time to explain the procedure and answer questions. Kudos to all.

Dr Mihora is very kind and professional. She did my ptosis surgery this week and the surgery itself was relatively smooth minus some hiccups of the surgery center not having the right tools. (crossing my fingers my results look good because I could hear her panick mid surgery...). However, the staff and their support during recovery is beyond frustrating. Any questions I ask has been met with attitude or the staff doesnt know how to help me. When I call in, I get the front receptionist who understandably doesnt know how to answer medical questions. But instead of giving my call to someone else she puts me on hold for minutes, asks someone, then comes back to me with a half answer. I finally had to ask to speak with someone directly in which I finally got to a medical assistant who had zero patience or empathy. I've been so uncomfortable after my surgery and the lack of resources for my questions is enough to not refer others to this office. I was also surprised that no one called to check in after he surgery as most surgeons will do so. IF you can look past the staff and lack of followup care, then by all means see Dr Mihora. Dr Mihora is very kind and professional. She did my ptosis surgery this week and the surgery itself was relatively smooth minus some hiccups of the surgery center not having the right tools. Very nice staff as well as a good communication with Dr.Mihora. Your medical history is taken first by a staff nurse and then you see the doctor. Because all of your medical history has already been put in the computer by the staff, you get to actually have a good face to face visit with the doctor.

Exceptional care and personable office staff. I highly recommend the office. They care about their patients!

Dr Mihora and her entire staff are awesome. My eyelid surgery was quick, painless and perfect. Healed so quickly that no one could even tell I had surgery!

I'm grateful to have found Dr Mihora! She and her staff are very kind, efficient and attentive. Dr Mihora LISTENS to my concerns; and is very detail oriented, in helping me get my eye sight and eye shape back to normal.

After festering for a bit longer, I pulled out a stich that had been left behind!! I was referred to Dr. Mihora for a surgical procedure to remove a stye that had become permanent. She and her staff her staff were wonderful and very caring. She explained the procedure and told me what was being done during the procedure which made me feel very comfortable. I highly recommend Dr. Mihora and her staff.

I had Mohs surgery for basal cell carcinoma removed from my upper eyelid then went to Dr. Lisa Mihora for reconstructive surgery. Awesomely competent in a unique speciality and has done an outstanding repair job on results of skin cancer removal next to my eye. Hermedical/surgical skills are augmented by a delightful personality.

This review is long overdue. I had my DCR surgery (Tear Duct surgery) on my right eye in July 2019. I traveled from Gilbert all the way up to North Phoenix based on my research into Dr. Mihora's experience and reviews from various sites. Her bedside manner is excellent, and she makes you feel so comfortable asking questions and addressing your concerns. The pain from the surgery was minimal and the medications she prescribed worked very well. (Actually, I only had to take the pain medicine for 2 nights). For a few months after the surgery, I was concerned because my tears were still not draining. However, after about 7 months, I noticed that I had not teared all day while golfing, even with all of the outdoors elements. I was ecstatic! I am at about 90% back to normal as of today and hope that eventually I will be close to 100%. Thanks to Dr. Mihora for all that she does to help her patients!

Miserable-- rude receptionist Waited 27 days for an appointment after referral from my Dr. Talked to them before appt and sent records from another state. Showed up for my surgery to be told " We do not accept your insurance"

This was first visit with Dr. Mihora and I was very satisfied. She is very thorough and answered all of my concerns. I am looking forward to finally having my drooping eyelid repaired since I was injured as a young child.

Dr. Mihora is a highly talented physician. She is very caring and compassionate. She quickly diagnosed by medical issue and provided me with a huge amount of information and approved me for Tepezza infusions. She is an asset to your company.

I was so very happy with the results of my surgery. The care, concern and professionalism that I received was outstanding.

Recently my husband was referred to Dr. Lisa Mihora for an eye removal. Dr. Lisa Relaxed my very tense husband and reassured him. Dr. Lisa answered all of our questions . On surgery day she kept me informed and did an excellent job. During recovery when I had to call her she answered within minutes. Thank you Dr. Lisa for doing such a wonderful job. We both would recommend Dr. Lisa to anyone needing an excellent ophthalmologist or ocular surgeon.

Is it possible to give Dr. Mihora 10 stars? Not only is she so professional, she is compassionate and kind. After Ptosis surgery she was able to address all my concerns and difficulties I was having post surgery. Although it takes a long time to get an appointment she is worth the wait. Best doctor ! I wish all doctors were as compassionate, thoughtful and empathic as Dr. Mihora!

Waited over 1 1/2 hour to be seen and was told I was next then the Dr. Went in to see a different patient! I told the staff to distroy my forms I was tired of waiting and would never come back!

Having recovered from 3rd degree burns over 44% of my body, I have had much exposure to Doctors, Specialists, Hospitals, Surgeons, etc..etc all over the country. While I am grateful beyond words to them all, I am not only extremely pleased with the result of my recent surgery by Dr. Mihora, I feel as though I am one of the family among, among her little work family. Dr. Mihora saved my vision!!! After 2 optholomists failed to solve a serious problem I had with dry eyes after cataract surgery, she had the expertise and..... took the time to offer suggestions and then followed up on possible solutions until we found one. She is also an excellent surgeon. She lifted the muscles in my eyelids which were interfering with my vision and not only did this improve my vision - my eyes look so much better! Finally Dr. Mihora is a delight to work with.

Dr. Mihora is not only knowledgeable, but thorough. She walked me through all of the steps of my treatment and explained why each was necessary.

Very personable and good at what she does. My plastic surgery went wonderful and the results are perfect. She did an amazing job.

She promised one thing and did another. In the recovery room I told her that she forgot to do the one area. She responded that it wasn't necessary. Later I was left with big bags on the inner eyelids. After complaining she told me that she could cut slits above my eyebrows halfway between the brow and hair line and fix it. That was NOT what she told me prior to surgery. My other option was for her to do plastic surgery which the insurance would not pay for. She lied and then denied it.

She is the very best opthologist I have ever had & eye surgeon. She is very sweet & knowledgabe

Dr. Mihora has been my ophthalmologist for the past 3 years. The excellent care and concern she has given me is beyond all expectation. She performed eyelid surgery as well as monitoring my eyes. I am so disappointed that Banner Health has dismantled their Ophthalmology Department completely. I will miss Dr. Mihora's care greatly!

You won't find a better eye doctor that is not only excellent in her profession, but is kind and caring about her patients.
