Dr. Davis is very knowledgeable and patient in explaining your situation. He analyze the MRI of my shoulder quickly, told me exactly what he thought it was, gave me another Cortizone shot and told me what to expect if it doesn’t work. He also most graciously gave me advice and a referral on another medical issue that I had with possible nerve damage to my toes. My big complaint today was I was waiting 40 minutes in the waiting room Outside and then another 30 minutes plus in the examination room after the PA met with me for a minute. One hour, 15 minutes past the appointment time was way too long. I appreciated that Dr. Davis apologized for the wait, but short of an emergency, ( and this might be the second time I’ve had to wait this long), my advice would be to grab the first appointment in the morning before things get backed up.

Pleasant office and personnel. Efficient staff. Services provided were excellent.

Dr Davis explained my problem very clearly and told me what to do to elevate it. I liked him. Only problem with my visit was the very long wait—over an hour. I felt very relieved that my pain was relatively minor and I can fix it with some simple exercises and heat and cold.

All office people were polite and friendly. Very helpful. Dr. Davis is great. So thankful to have come to see him.

My experience with Dr. Davis is very positive. His team at the Tysons Corner office is exceptional. The receptionist is friendly and efficient and speeded me through the onboarding process. Medical assistant Jay spent focused time with me to understand what were my chief complaints and my history. He went out of his way to contact one of the imaging labs to retrieve a recent diagnostic report to make sure Dr. Davis had a complete picture. Once the assistant had setup the imaging pictures in the examining room I did not have to wait very long for Dr. Davis to attend. He was patient and curious about my symptoms. He evaluted my past information and asked about my goals for treatment. He recommended a conservative approach that would influence my pain levels but defer more intrusive treatment while he continues to follow me and collect more data. I left the office feeling confident of his judgement and expertise and overall the visit was a model of exceptional health care by the team.

He is clearly a very smart and experienced doctor. Would highly recommend him.

Dr. Lonnie Davis came recommended and I find him to be a great doctor and surgeon. He repaired a torn labrum in my R hip. He has a straightforward and pleasant manner. I’ve been quite active all my life and was in significant discomfort after much increased physical activity in 2021-2022 from a couple of sports. I highly recommend Dr. Davis for your orthopedic needs! The clinical and administrative team in his office are second to none.

Dr. Davis was kind, knowledgeable, attentative and promptly assessed and addressed my issue.

Dr. Davis was very thorough with my exam and took the time and asked questions in regards to pain. Injection was given in hopes that my problem is taken care of for now. There was no pushing to have unnecessary surgery. Would definitely recommend.

Dr. Davis is very personable and knowledgeable. He explained in layman’s language his thoughts about my condition and treatment in a way that made me feel like an equal partner.

Dr. Davis is fantastic. His bedside/patient manner is wonderful. He's truly one of the top 3 doctors I've ever seen. He patiently listened to all my questions, took the time to show me various options for treatment of my issue, and wasn't rushing out of his seat to see his next patient. I really appreciated that he took the time to be so thorough with me, as that's a rare quality to find among doctors in this area. I'll definitely be going back to Dr. Davis for all of my orthopedic needs and will be recommending him extremely highly to all my friends.

I am so thankful to have found Dr. Davis! He’s an outstanding physician, and personable and caring human being! Sadly, many doctors today have you in an out of their offices in five minutes and leave conversations and explanations to their assistants. Dr. Davis actually gets to know you as a person, remembers things about you, and takes the time to have a conversation with you! He has a great sense of humor and really puts me at ease when discussing the more difficult aspects of my healthcare needs with me. I highly recommend Dr. Davis and Ortho Bethesda!

First visit. Quickly diagnosed issue and addressed it immediately without drawn out follow up visit for procedure.

Dr. Davis is impressive in several areas, but his cortisone shots were well-placed and close to pain free. His physical exam was unusually thorough too! Healing hands!

Dr Davis performed my hip labrel tear repair in 2020, so it was a no-brainer that when I had an injury in my left knee I returned to his care. After a thorough review of my MRI, he explained my options in a manner I, as a non-medical professional, could understand. My options, the rationale for the current course of action, and follow up care. I am confident that should surgery prove necessary Dr Davis will once again provide excellent care. His knowledge is undeniable but his care and concern for you as the patient really supersedes the experience I have had when consulting other surgeons. I have referred family members to Dr Davis and they too share my sentiments.

Dr. Davis did an excellent job explaining my condition and a plan to address it. I came away releived to know what was wrong and the plan to address it. Dr. Davis came accross asured, experienced and very competent. I am very confident in the expected outcome.

Unfortunately, I have seen several ortho surgeons over the years. Dr Davis is unmatched in his bedside manner, care and professionalism. He is thorough in his examination and explanation of treatment options. He is also punctual and takes the time needed to answer my questions. It never feels good having to go see your doctor, however, every time I see Dr Davis, I leave feeling very grateful to be in his care.

Dr. Davis was fantastic in talking through my problems, ensuring that I got all my questions answered, and making sure we all had a plan to fix anything that needed to be fixed. I would advise anyone looking for a fantastic doctor to choose Dr. Davis

I've seen Dr Davis regularly this year before and after he did arthroscopic surgery on my knee. He tried several other therapeutic options before he operated to make sure there wasn't a simpler way to fix my problem. He's personable and always willing to answer my questions thoroughly.

I had a labrum repair done by Dr. Lonnie Davis. I had a fantastic experience from start to finish. In the appointment before surgery he explained the entire procedure with props and then showed me an animated video of what the actual surgery would entail. The surgery went great, in and out in the same day. My post op has been easy and at the post op visit Dr. Davis answered all my questions and gave me pictures from the surgery to show exactly what he did. I felt heard the entire time and would highly recommend him to anyone needing this type of surgery!

I fractured my right elbow on January 14th and the Ortho OIC clinic my husband found on Clarendon Blvd in Arlington was exactly what my injury needed. They were able to see me, determine the extent of my injury and come up with a plan for treatment almost immediately. Within one hour I had been x-rayed, placed in a cast and met with the surgeon via Zoom. An appointment for the surgery was made over the phone the next morning and it took place 3 days later. Dr Davis is fantastic and I am very pleased.

Dr Davis performed my first knee replacement last April. I would not go to anyone else to do my next replacement in February. I highly recommend Dr Davis!

Had a very horrible experience with Dr. Davis. I went to the Dr. with a minor meniscus tear. A MRI showed a minor outer tear. The Dr. recommended a minor surgery to correct it. I went with the surgery after assurances from Dr. that I will be much better after surgery. My anticipated week long recovery turned into months of physiotherapy, multiple draining of the knee etc. Since the swelling of the knee persisted, a second MRI was done. The new MRI suggested that the original tear was still there

Went to Dr. Davis on my GP's recommendation for a second opinion on a torn bicep muscle. He was thorough, straight with me (said I didn't need the surgery but gave me the pro's and con's) and picked up on the fact that my first MD misdiagnosed the location of the tear. He was patient in his explanations and understandable and welcomed my questions. I have full faith in him and although I didn't have the surgery, I felt he had integrity to try not to "sell me" on unnecessary surgery.

Dr. Davis is like no other...his compassion and kindness is superior! Easy to talk to, explains everything, open to all questions and takes time with you. He did an excellent job on my surgery and follow up. All was as expected. He answers questions thoroughly but does not waste patient time. Addressed new issue right away without having to make another appointment just for it.

Given the extent of my injury and accident, Dr. Davis did a miraculous job getting me back to normal. He always kept me informed of what to keep an eye on, and how to address certain aspects of my new life adjusting to this injury. I am nearly back to normal now, and it would not have been possible without Dr. Davis.
