Louis Gallia

Dr. Gallia did my jaw surgery back in 1998 when I was in my early 20s. I had inured my jaw and had severe TMJ. He did an amazing job. I am writing this review in hopes that he sees it. Thank you, Dr. Galia! I had a CT scan recently that showed severe TMJ but I have very little pain, because of your procedure. Thank you so much for helping me over two decades ago.

Completely awful experience. Dr. Gallia was rude and condescending to not only me but to his staff as well. He was dismissive and arrogant. He wouldn't answer my questions until prodded to do so and then was EXTREMELY condescending. I called back after my appointment and let the office manager know of my terrible experience. When she informed Dr. Gallia of my complaint, he angrily called me and told me me to find another surgeon. He hung up on me like a child. It was the most unprofessional experience I've ever been a part of. I filed a complaint with the Dental Board of California because of his improper care and unprofessional behavior. Every person working in this office besides Dr. Gallia has gone above and beyond for me and I'm so thankful for them. However, I recommend staying as far away from this place as possible

Awful! It's been 5 years since this HACK removed my wisdom teeth. My jaw has never recovered and I have chronic pain. The arthritis in my jaw has become noticable as the TMJ has deteriorated over the years. I have trouble biting into things and I have to be careful how I sleep. Dr. Gallia caused me a lifetime of pain, DO NOT LET HIM TOUCH YOU! Use literally any other doctor!

ONE OF THE BEST ORAL SURGEONS IN SACRAMENTO! Dr. Louis Gallia is an excellent and brilliant oral surgeon, a transcendent master in his field and one of the greatest oral surgeons in Sacramento. Dr. Gallia's patient care plan for me was smart and comprehensive, his operative skills were remarkably masterful and his communications with me were clear, gracious and professional. His staff was professional, informative, approachable and empathetic. His assistants were helpful, caring and friendly.

Would never recommend this Dr! Worst experience ever! During procedure (wisdom teeth) I was squirming in the chair (obviously my body was recognizing pain), instead of giving me more drugs to help me, he just kept YELLING at me to stop moving! I have complained to my referring dentist, who told me that they've had other patients complain as well. He is like a robot, no feeling or compassion for his patients. He even speaks in a monotone voice. STAY AWAY!

Arrogant & egotistical. Acts like he's the best. Told me & my husband he never heard of dental med allergies. Refused to do my surgery I was scheduled for. Told me he would do in hospital but it would take 3 months to get my insurance to approve what they already approved. Talked to us like we were as ignorant as he is. We are peers. He's DDS, MD. I'm NP Trauma Educator & Legal Nurse Consultant. He kept trying to brag about how great he is compared to me. Who cares? Infection in mouth.

Extremely rude and arrogant. Fractured my jaw taking out my wisdom teeth and now I have developed arthritis. Do NOT use. Find some one else, better safe than sorry, I promise!
