Dr. Planas became my doctor in 1984 and remained so through 2011. He always gave me full attention and great medical treatment. As he was an independent physician, not an employee of a corporation, he was totally in charge of his own office, as doctors traditionally have been. On at least two occasions, on his day off, he prescribed urgently needed medicine based only my description of symptoms over the phone, without making me wait to see him -- and he never charged me anything. Amazing! :-)
