Dr. Lynn Scott Chidester

I was referred to Dr. Chidester by another doctor for my kidney stones and I was very disappointed in his care. I am a nursing student and I work in healthcare, so I had a lot of questions about my plan of care. I tried calling his office 5 different times in between appointments and surgeries to get answers to my questions with no response. I wrote down my questions for my appointment to ask him and he seemed very annoyed by my asking. He did not adequately educate me before or after a procedure he performed. He had no empathy for my pain or concerns. I normally never leave reviews, but I hope this helps others so they don't go through what I went through. I ended up getting a second opinion from another urologist and it was like night and day difference. No patient should ever be treated like he treated me. I hope to be a better nurse and educator after this experience.

Best doctor I deal with; calm, collected, concerned, compassionate. If you're dealing with prostrate issues, don't go anywhere else.

Dr. Chidester was great, courteous and professional. I would recommend him.

Poor bedside manner. He acted like we were putting him out by asking questions. My daughter has had 5 kidney stones and he told us there was no reason to take pain medication every time she had a tummy ache. Obviously, the man has never had a kidney stone!

He's excellent. I have been going to Dr. Chidester since prostate surgery 10 years ago. I'd recommend him to anyone.
