Dr. Lynne O Simms

I was having the weirdest symptoms. Went gyno to gyno and she was the first to tell me that me fainting was most likely seizures and that would explain my abdominal pain and weird symptoms. She was right. I have epilepsy and went a whole year without knowing I was having seizures

I was a patient of Dr. Lynne Simms for several years until moving out of state. I miss her efficiency and exceptional care! She has my strongest recommendation!

I have been seeing her for a number of years now and I love her! She is concise and I have always felt like she cared about my health.

She delivered all 4 of our children and did an excellent job.

I love Dr. Simms, she is incredibly helpful and the best OB-GYN I have ever been to.

My rating reflects my doctor's professionalism, listening skills, efficient use of time and expertise in her field. That being said, the office has run a bit slow for my liking, but I've only seen one other OB-GYN in another office and had the same experience. She has delivered 2 of my 3 and we intend for her to deliver my 4th baby. If you are wanting to go unconventional routes with labor/ delivery, then just make up your mind and have someone else to ask the questions because Dr. Simms is conventional. Waited 2 hours for my initial exam. Very rushed appointment. I asked for antidepressant for PPD and my concerns weren’t taken seriously. She wasn’t rude. But after waiting 2 months for an appointment and 2 hours for my exam it was a major fail.

This is the best OBGYN in Lexington for that matter in KY. I have drove from NC before to see her. She is caring and attentive to her patients. She listens to your needs. She has literally saved my life atleast 2x now including my daughter's at birth. Trust me she has your back! I have been going to this wonderful doctor for 20 years and now my mother does. If you go to anyone else, you need to switch to this wonderful woman. Trust me you are missing out on quality, compassionate, thorough care. Trust me I know, I won't go to anyone else.

Dr. Simms was incredibly supportive during my pregnancies. She is respectful and informative. The office staff is also great.

As a young man with a pregnant girlfriend, she was nothing but negative and condescending to me for nine months. This was twelve years ago and I remember it vividly. I would encourage you to look elsewhere for a Doctor if pregnant.

Incompetent, rude, horrible bedside manner. And she calls herself a doctor. What a disgrace to the community.

Slow. Slow slow slowwwwwwww came in office at 2 its now 4 its been over 2 hours still havent seen a doctor this is horrible stay away from this place

Dr. Simms is definitely knowledgeable about her field but I don’t plan on going to her for my next pregnancy. She did not have good bedside manner at all. She even forgot about me being in the exam room once...I waited for like 30 minutes or longer so I stuck my head out and seen her in her office. When she seen me she actually told me she forgot about me. Thankfully Dr. Owen’s is the one who delivered my baby. He made me feel comfortable and he was super nice and I don’t think I would have felt that way with Dr. Simms delivering my baby. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Simms. She gets to the point and doesn't sugar coat your diagnosis. She is straight forward and isn't interested in wasting your time or hers. I feel like she has my best interest at heart and I feel like she cares about my well-being.

I have been a patient of Dr. Simms for over 7 years now. She is the best ob/gyn I have ever had. I am over 40 years old now and she helped me deliver 2 wonderfully healthy children in my late 30's. She doesn't waist time. She is thorough and in her own way very compassionate to the family she is serving. She is the best surgeon and diagnostic medical professional in this part of Kentucky. She is a very intelligent woman with a lot of knowledge, but has 0 compassion, doesn't listen to her pts. I had been prescribed estrogen, as well as many different birth control medications. My ins. changed and I had to switch to Sprintec. I started having an allergic reaction with it. She refused to prescribe me anymore BC pills until I went through testing to see if I was allergic to estrogen. RIDICULOUS! I was taking estrogen RX, it was just the brand Sprintec! Wait X is crazy!
