I am writing this because I saw a negative view that is 180 degrees from what I have experienced. Dr. Patel is kind, curious, empathetic and has taken a genuine interest in my well-being. I have had several "breakthroughs' with her, where she guided me toward what was really bothering me.

Do not go to this person. She is awful! Constantly sends emails harassing you for money even when you don't owe a balance. Refused to issue a refund on the credit balance carried when I left their practice.

Doctor Patel’s treatment is extremely transactional and rushed. She does not care about her patients on a human level and does not have enough experience to treat her patients beyond simple diagnoses. On top of that, she is rude, condescending and dismissive. Trust me, look elsewhere for a provider who actually cares about you!

Dr. Patel listens. She retains every detail so re-explaining family members, holiday dinner, every situation, good experiences, traumas may be referenced a year after it occurred or was mentioned. Therapy is work. Dr. Patel guides, praises, reminds you of your accomplishments. My journey has been filled with nightmares, violence, many changes, abuse, loss and the greatest most beautiful joys. I am grateful and forever thankful to have Dr. Patel as my teacher, cheerleader and teammate.
