Dr. Manish R. Patel

I am a physician in Sarasota, so I am fairly familiar with many Sarasota doctors, and I know a talented and devoted doctor when I am in their presence. I am also a cancer patient, having first been diagnosed with a type of blood cancer 17 years ago. Without exaggeration I describe Dr. Manish Patel as a brilliant and caring physician, as well as a kind man who is devoted to his craft. He spends nearly unlimited time with me answering my questions, helping me navigate the confusing choices that are thrust upon us as cancer patients (and even though I am a doctor too, cancer care is a completely different realm, and I’m just as confused as any other patient most of the time), and has even offered to find other cancer doctors in other cities and even other states in case I wanted second opinions. Thanks, Dr. Patel, but you’ll do just fine for me! Dr. Manish Patel is an honor to his and my chosen profession, and I am proud (and safe) to know him and to be in his care.

He is a fine Doctor and a Great person . And along with his dedicated staff they have saved my life ...

He doesn't pay attention to you or what you say. He is only about money and wants to repeat tests in his office that will make him money. I was diabetic and he never told me. I went to another doctor ASAP and found that out. He evidently doesn't even look at your blood work. The office charged Medicare for tests that they didn't do. I would NEVER go there again.

Amazing and professional doctor who fixed my broken wrist quickly. I highly recommend this Dr. Patel he is a excellent surgeon.
