The doctor is nice and knowledgeable. The staff however is not most of the time.

Always very timely and nice. Very difficult to find doctors that take time to listen to your concerns, so when I find one I greatly appreciate it.

I do not like this office for my child. I’ve never met the doctor not once in a year of taking her there. I wouldn’t recommend this doctor’s office to anyone.. I never felt comfortable taking my daughter here.

My 4 children have been seen here for 4 years but will no longer be going. Service has always been slow and the staff is very incompetent. Save yourself the frustration and go somewhere else. The staff struggles to complete anything going outside of the office. RXs to the pharmacy are always delayed or sent to the wrong location. Referrals to specialist take days to be input. And the staff is very uncaring. We stayed so long because it was close to our home and we didn’t need to visit often. This is still a business and we will no longer be contributing. Absolutely the worst. Not sure if ignorance, incompetence or pure laziness. First sign of it started with a checkup with my son. My wife took him in. In the room was a female doctor and a male doctor. The female checks my son's heart rate and the male doctor asked what his rate was. Her response: '120'. Normally would sound like an accurate statement except for my son has complete heart block and ranges around 50-60 bpm with the rare 70 at times. The male doctor caught her on it and said 'no that's not right' where she then checked it again and came up with a less fictional number. Visit after visit only checking weight, length, heart rate and almost nothing else. He starts to develop a rash on his head and feet. They tell us nothing more than cradle cap. It doesn't go away and again they say cradle cap. We decide to go to a dermatologist and ask them to fax a referral.... nothing. We call the dermatologist to see when we can schedule but they are still waiting on a fax. We ask them to fax again and guess what, a month later the dermatologist is still waiting on it. We finally went on our own accord and what is the rash? Lupus. Even with his complete heart block condition, No blood work tests ran, no checks for other conditions, with the rash popping up no checks to see what it is, absolutely NOTHING. So we decide to get a new pediatrician. They want the records....here we go again. The new pediatrician faxes over the release request....and you guessed it, no response from healthpoint pediatrics. They fax it a second time and no response. My wife calls and they tell her she can come pick them up on Saturday. Now, today my wife goes there to get them and they are "not ready". Once she fills out the paperwork it can take a week for them to be ready. You have kicked your feet, answered no questions, you have done absolutely NOTHING for my family and now you are holding my son's healthcare hostage until those records come available. It didn't take his cardiologist long at all. My son's cardiologist responded the same day. Absolutely the worst care for my son in my opinion. Get my pediatrician his records so I can get him taken care of properly! Absolutely the worst. Not sure if ignorance, incompetence or pure laziness. We were refused service when both of our kids were running a fever. The office manager was extremely rude. It all came down to money. We are insured & we had a reference number to prove it but the manager didn’t even give us time to explain. All she wanted was $300 for both kids. It’s sad to see what the health system has come to. What ever happened to caring about the patients well being. Is this the type of service Fayette county deserves? We were refused service when both of our kids were running a fever. If I could put no stars than I would. It’s one thing to be knowledgeable and pompous but to be undereducated and callous is unheard of where I come from. I’ve never received such horrible customer service and have never been blatantly denied health care for myself nor my children so dismissively. I am from Washington DC and come from a long lineage of educated and powerful people. I, naively and sadly, didn’t know blatant racism still existed until today, when my sick child was refused an establishing care visit because she was sick. I was either going to have to pay $150 because she was sick or go somewhere else. Again I reiterate my baby (10 mos old) was visibly ill (coughing, sneezing, snotty, flushed, etc) and they refused to establish care for her as a new patient because she was sick (I just moved here from DC). I am beyond appalled and will spend the rest of my life making sure this place gets shut down. I only went here because a friend referred me, with caution. I only went because to date I haven’t found a Pediatrician who is half as good as the pediatrician my kids had in DC. Nonetheless she did warn me that they weren’t great. Like other people, I did my research before choosing this office, and I am so glad I chose this one over the others! I have never had a bad experience at this place, everybody is always so nice and welcoming. Most of the time Dr. P or one of the nurses sees us right away. On a very rare occasion we have to wait a little bit because the office is so busy. But even when we wait there is stuff for the kids to do to keep them entertained so I don't have to! Haha Personally, the only bad reviews that I have read about this place were just people complaining about having to pay money, which is funny to me because if you expect a service you have to pay for it! Will be coming back and recommending this place to other mamas too.

Everything went great and fast!! I love this office, my kids love Kim and Dr.Plotkin. Silvia and Kori are very knowledgeable nurses. The front office lady (I don't remember her name) is super friendly. Strongly recommend this pediatric office!!

I definitely recommend this pediatrician!! The nurses are awesome, especially Kori!! She is always so sweet and bubbly!! My daughters love her!!!

Staff is rude. After 6pm you will be charged because of the time and also if you have to call about your child’s symptoms to the help line you will be charged $10.00 each time. Worst doctors office that takes two hours for a one years old checkups. Will not be going back.

If you noticed mostly all the negative reviews are from BLACK PEOPLE.. I am a Black person also! This place is racist and if you have any color in your skin they will treat you unfairly. My kids and I sat in the waiting room for 30 minutes before anyone asked me any questions. They laughed and giggled until I got up and made myself known. And when doing so they looked at me as if I was the problem. The doctor examined my children and we left.. Only to wait 6 hours later to call and tell me they found something in my daughter urine. Amazing DOCTOR, all my 3 kids go to him, we've been seeing by Dr Plotkin since 2004 since he opened his office A++++++

All four of my children go to Dr. Plotkin. Have nothing but great things to say about the office. When we need to be seen as a walk in they are always have accommodated us. They look to address the issue with a solution other than medicating the problem. I am thankful for there help and will continue to take my children there.

Dr Plotkin is so understanding and thorough . His staff are all wonderful and caring. Our kids have very complicated health issues (PANDAS / AE and possible Lyme ) and to have a Dr look at them as a whole person and not just separate out each thing is amazing. He has in just a short time given us some small hope for the medical community in GA. His nurse about 30 min talking with us and ordering the correct tests to find out what is going on with my son's health. In the 2 never times once we have seen them, they never dismissed what we needed to discuss with them. So many Drs have discussed my daughter's symptoms and because of that hey health continued to decline. We just started seeing Dr Plotkin and so far his practice has been a big relief. I can't stress enough how important it is to listen to a patient's story and whole symptom history. He took the time to explain in detail the reason for some tests and the urgency. He was very patient with us and my forgetting things and my bouncy son fidgeting. Ga is so lacking and so understaffed for complicated health issues. Our kids need more advocating Drs that deal with immune issues and not throwing pills at them. Dr Plotkin and his nurses really helped put me at ease. We have a small team of Drs for our kids, tha int now includes Healthpoint.Dr Plotkin is so understanding and thorough . We drive nearly 1hr 45min one way to get there. I will drive my kids wherever I need to, to get them a good, kind, doctor that looks at the whole child not just a number on a chart. Dr Plotkin is so understanding and thorough . I’m moving to this area I found this Dr via google and it was close so I said why not. My child is on some chronic meds and have been on them for 2 years prior. Dr Plotkin’s office decided to run extra tests that his specialist didn’t run at all. When questioned the office didn’t really give a medical answer just it’s part of protocol. Of course this test was expensive and a way for the office to get quick money! Poor office wrong diagnosis STAY AWAY!

They are rude and unprofessional. They are over charging my children and currently being accused of billing fraud by my insurance company and I. They will bill you for amounts outside of what the state and insurance will allow the patient to be billed. The office manager, Sylvia, speaks down on you and talks to you in a rude manner. They never see the kids on time and have the audacity to be nasty. Sylvia is so rude that the staff all quit and continues to quit. Every visit there is a new face. She (Sylvia - office manager) threatens you for having a balance after insurance pays and gives you a hard time for making payments. I have never been in a office that treated me as if I were not a paying patient. After all this time, the level of service continues to worsen. If Dr. Plotkin cannot see that his office manager/staff has no idea how to treat people, then I rather take my kids to see a new provider. Do not go here, they don't respect you or your kids despite the situation! She stated she would not be of assistance to me because my child had a balance. Wow! The experience I have received from the staff is nothing but rudeness. The staff is unprofessional. I am taking my kids to another doctor. This is not the first time I have been talked/looked down upon by the head staff. I really don't care what her name is. The Doctor would careless about my children when the come to the office. I feel like all they care about is getting money from their clients and insurance. they really don't care about the well-being of their patients. Today I took my son to the clinic and this was supposed to be a continued well visit to get his immunization because the last time the clinic didn't have the vaccine during the well visit. The clinic still want me to pay for the vaccine. When I called my insurance, they said we didn't have to pay for the visit. When they found out that it was their fault, they could not even apologize. Had a good experience each time I've been here

Have been using this office for the last 9 years. Couldn't be happier. Outstanding staff and amazing doctors. A+++

I have had nothing but great experiences with this Doctor's office. I love Dr. Plotkin and his PA's. I have always been treated with respect and they are even patient with me when I am frustrated. Dr. Plotkin is always working to find the cause of my son's illness' instead of just treating symptoms with pharmaceuticals.

Dr. Plotkin was very thorough. Took time to listen and explain his thought process. He is not quick to prescribe medication... Instead, he suggested supplements to help my son. I look forward to working with him for many years. His staff was also very nice and professional.

We had not one but, two horrible experiences at this office. Front Office staff was rude and The Dr. & Nurse did not seem to want to hear our concerns even made us feel like we were horrible parents when we brought our child in sick knowing what had even caused it only to say that they were convinced it was the flue because we had not vaccinated for it. The did a flue test and it was negative. Turns out it was what we had suspected it was. We had not one but, two horrible experiences at this office. I had a great experience with doctor and staff, and I highly recommend them! They are very nice and experienced!

I just started coming to this office with my new born. I love them!! Everyone was really sweet, friendly, and made me and my fiancé feel really comfortable. So far my baby has had 2 appointments and they gave me soooooo much information on being a new mom. I usually don't do ratings but I feel that it was well deserved!! Thank you guys!

I love Dr. Plotkin. He's a big guy with a big heart! I really love how thorough he is and my children are happy
