Very thorough and appears to have knowledge and experience in a wide range of serious eye problems. Clearly a top Doc in his field.

Dr. Levy saved my eyesight. I had a "black veil" look when my eyes were open. Almost comparable to a floater that never moved. It partially blocked my vision in my right eye due to pressure and fluids resting on the optic nerve. After professional treatment, my vision was restored without that complication. I was very impressed with Dr. Levy. I have cancer and have had a number of illnesses in the last seven years. I have seen dozens of doctors in that period. The most important thing to me is that a doctor listen to me and take into account what I have experienced and am feeling. Dr. Levy just did that and he used my input to reach a diagnosis. While there isn’t much that can be done to address my condition (NAION), Dr. Levy took proactive steps to help as much as possible and advised me how to reduce chances of a similar occurrence in my other eye. The time he dedicated to my case was remarkable in my experience.

Dr. levy has been seeing me sent 1987 when I had a eye injury with a very small piece of galvanized from a fence staple went in my right eye and almost through the through the eye through the eye went to Sarasota hospital where they called Dr Chen in to look at my eye we were going to have to surgicallyremove the eye and remove and remove the object Dr Kingman at that time just got back from Texas teaching doctors out there he was then a part of Sarasota retina center he ended up doing the surgery Dr Chen said he had way more experience with this surgery at that time since then I've seen Dr Chen and Dr Levy for follow-ups Dr Levy has pretty much been my doctor since then and and has done cataract surgery on both of my eyes also has removed the left eye and took out a growth that started in the corner of my eye he has been one of the best doctors that I have ever used very courteous very caring and just plain down to earth. I see him every year for checkups and has never had a problem.

Excellent staff. My wife and I found Dr. Levy extremely personable as well as professional. His vast knowledge is a definite asset when trying to determine what the issue may be. Compared to other reviews I feel like we saw a totally different doctor than some others unless they were looking for a miracle cure.

Dr Levy is both knowledgeable and personable. My last appointment he gave me two shots at the base of my skull. He said something right before he gave them that was so funny I stopped concentrating on the shots.. Dr Levy is fantastic and after three years of suffering with headaches, neck pain and visual issues, he diagnosed post traumatic occipital neuralgia which triggers migraines. Knowing the correct diagnosis lead to the correct treatment and ultimately relief from debilitating pain. I cannot thank him enough!

I've been seeing Dr. Levy for many years, and I have always been treated with utmost care. Sometimes blunt, but that's the nature of resolving a condition!

He didn't make my Brown Eyes Blue. But he did get rid of my DOUBLE vision. My Right eye was starting to cross along with my left Eye creating Double vision.

An absolute nightmare! The entire experience period. Read the reviews before you consider this as your LAST OPTION!

This doctor is very rude , First time my wife went there I asked the doctor if I could ask him s question about her condition and he flat out said NO... He then left the room... We were both shocked , He never talks with my wife or explains anything other than saying that's just who you are now... Don't waste your money or time and find a doctor that is not so rude.. Dr. Levy and his team have been very cordial every time we visited. More importantly, he paid attention and researched carefully until he had the correct diagnosis for an unusual eye condition. He kept in touch with us to check on progress and was both personable and professional at all times. We will continue to see Dr. Levy

My husband lost the vision in his left eye due to Ischemic Optic Neuropathy...was not treated in time and the vision was lost...then 2 years later his right eye started bothering him...got into a local doc (we’re from Ga) and immediately sent to Tallahassee Fl and then from there Dr Levys name was brought up...he has been working on hubby for two months with great improvement noted...yes we travel 5 hours one way to see Dr Levy and will continue to as long as we need to. Love him and staff!!

the most poorly run medical practice I have ever been to. I waited 3 and half hours and had to leave because they run this practice so terribly. I did not even get checked by the doctor in that time.

Horrible bedside manner. I initially tried to ignore his rude behavior because I was seeing improvement with my condition, but i only lasted 4 visits before I couldn't take it. When he asked me whether or not I was pregnant and my response was "no", he asked "how do you know for sure", and so I responded, "because I'm not sexually active"...he threw a giant fit, telling me that was a disgusting way of saying it, that he didn't need to know that, I could have said something else.
