Dr Chang is efficient and caring. As soon as you step into their office they quickly and efficiently move you from one test to another. Dr Chang is empathetic and cares about the progress of her and care and also her patients progress

Retinal Consultants in Chico is a great retinal specialty group. My husband saw Dr. Chang and she is very good. We were very pleased with her and the staff. We would recommend this group.

Needing a hypodermic injection into my (only useful) eyeball was, as you might well imagine, distressful. Dr. Chang takes such care and has such skilled hands that it was done before I knew it was happening. Her care, and knowledge, and craft are truly remarkable.

This doctor has treated my torn retina 3 different times and has always done it magnificently. She is personable and as kind as she can be under the circumstances. I’ve never misunderstood anything she’s told me, as some doctors talk over your head. Her flashlight has very strong batteries in it. I recommend her to all who have retina issues. Dr. Chang was very kind and took extra time with me to explain what was happening to my eyes. She was careful to explain in a way that I could understand and I was very grateful for that extra time.

My experience with Dr Chang was very helpful, thorough and informative.

They treat me like family. I really appreciate the way they work. Margaret is top notch and also a good friend.

A few years ago my eye doctor referred me to Dr. Chang. She discovered that I had a detached retina and scheduled me for emergency surgery the very next day. It is very possible that she saved my my eye site had nothing been done. I just saw her today for my yearly follow up and everything look good for another year.

Dr. M. Chang is an excellent DOCTOR, with a great staff. The best.

Dr Chang has unusually high skills in this area. I feel lucky that she is my retinal specialist!

dr chang is a phenomenal physician. she has been treating me for six years and my eye has improved substantially she and her staff are friendly, personable, and considerate last year while having a health issue unrelated to my eye, when my other doctors were not helping me i asked dr chang about the problem. she reacted immediately, instigated testing, and within a month i was diagnosed and began pursuing treatment. if not for dr chang, i believe i would have gone without answers for an unreasonable amount of time dr chang goes above and beyond, she is my favorite physician, and a lovely person. i enjoy my appointments and know i’m in the best care possible

I have wet macular degeneration and have seen 5 doctors in 4 states but Dr. Chang is by far the VERY BEST. I have been seeing her for the last 4 years and she is Amazing! She is fast but willing to answer any questions a person might have. She will explain things clearly . She has a warm and friendly personality. She was one of two reasons we bought a home in Chico after we lost our home in the Camp fire.

Dr. Chang was great during my surgeries. Her bedside manner will be topped by none, she takes the time to answer questions and explain what the surgery consisted of. I had a torn retina 4 times in 4 different places and when I was ready to give up she kept working and saved my eye, I'm to the point now where I have about the same vision in both eyes and am ready for glasses to be completely back to where I was before the surgery or even better. I would highly recommend Dr. Chang.

It is way too hot in this office. This is how germs grow this time of year. I had to wait outside because of it, plus it stinks.

I have had a LOT of surgeries- Having said that, I found Dr Chang and her team to be EXCEPTIONAL! They are a KIND, WELL OILED MACHINE. Very efficient, TIMELY (a rarity in medicine!), professional, and VERY NICE. My surgery for my macular pucker was a breeze. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

Dr. Chang's medical excellence is matched by her gennuinely warm and friendly demeanor. Her pleasant approach to providing health care is shared by all who work in her offices. Dr. Chang is a true professional and I'm grateful for knowing her and having her as MY doctor.

Dr. Chang has been taking care of my step mom's Wet Macular Degeneration for the past 1 1/2 years. She is very kind and caring. She puts my stepmom at ease every time. It has always been a pleasant experience.

Dr. Chang did my retinal surgery last year. I couldn't ask for a better doctor! She is wonderful! Dr. Chang and her team made my surgical experience the most positive anyone could ask for. Thank you Dr. Chang.

I hazve been going to Dr. Chang for 10 months. Because of her care and treatment my eye is completely recovered and the vision is better than it was before . I feel very fortunate to be her patient. Margaret Lawston

Surgery was fine but she has a horrible bedside manner & refused discuss an issue. A week after surgery when I told her my vision was now blurry and my night vision was gone she wouldn't talk about it & said I must have already had that condition since her surgery on me was fine. How insulting to suggest I wouldn't have noticed blurry vision and lack of night vision. I teach astronomy and certainly know my vision. Her assistant confirmed my vision was worse. She would not, and sent me away

I received great care from Dr. Chang for torn retinas and then later a macular hole. She was very honest in explaining both what was knowable and uncertain about my condition, so I felt I could trust her judgment. Her timely and very skilled surgery achieved for me a better-than-expected outcome. The office is an amazing high-volume operation, and the time with Dr. Chang is always brief, but this is a very small price to pay for first-class expertise and keeping my eyesight intact!
