Mrs. Margaret Smith-Mindell

I have received so much help from MM. I really needed someone to talk to. My life is a mess, I help everyone else and I have done that for decades and I'm just running on empty. She listens and is able to help me focus on what I need to do for me. I try. I don't ways succeed but I try. Finding someone who can really listen is not easy. MM really listens and remembers what I tell her.

Meg is both an outstanding professional and a kind person. Meg listened to my situation and guided me to gain insight so I could better cope. She gave practical advice how I could better interact with mom. She recommended an excellent nursing agency and a great geriatric doctor. Meg was a huge help in reducing my caregiver stress.

Dr. Mindell is a life saver. When I first met her, I was in a bad place mentally. But her patience, understanding, compassion and caring have helped me get to a much better place. She makes it very easy to talk to her. For the first time in my life I am comfortable being honest with myself and sharing my feelings. She never judges or makes you feel inadequate. She has helped me see that I matter. My feelings also matter. I still have a way to go but I am on the right path with her help.

She is a positive professional, who is intuitive to my needs and concerns. After meeting with her, I walk away with a refreshing sense of security and trust. I have been a client of hers for over 5 years and she continues to support and guide me through many issues, with great patience and compassion.
