Dr. Maria Rizkallah Boustani

After suffering a collapsed lung in December I was referred to Dr. Boustani. Following a breathing test in March she informed me that I had 28% lung capacity. I have severe allergies so I contacted her office to see what kind of over the counter meds I could take or possibly if there were a prescription I could get to avoid the sinus infection going to my lungs. I was asked what pharmacy I used and after waiting a week no prescription was called in—nor was I contacted about any over the counter meds I may be able to take. Awful! Went in with my mentally impaired family member for their first visit to help them fill out paper work, made me leave so he never got to fill out everything required, then said they would not see him because he didn’t fill out the paper work.

Dr. Boustani has been my pulmonologist for almost 20 years, and she was recommended by a friend who had seen her for several years. I can honestly say she is the best doctor I have encountered in my 69 years, and is the only one I have ever cared to review or write any comment for. She is thorough, caring, and skilled. Best Dr around she really cares about her paients I been going to her for 12 or 13 years

I was referred to this dr and the first appointment I had with her she was rude and talked to me in a way that me feel very uncomfortable and she rushed in the room and rushed out. She don't listen to your issues and I have lung issues and she bluntly told me she was not going to treat my lung issues. All she done was asked a few questions and left the room. I was coming an hour away from my home to this dr and it was a waste of my time. I tell everyone don't waste your time on this rude dr

Dr. Boustani has provided my care for COPD and Alpha 1 conditions for about 7 years now. I have found her to be excellent in every way. She never fails to show concern and compassion . Although an excellent physician, I have wittnessed a large increase in patient load. This does concern me as the waiting and time spent with her has been altered. Her nurses are EXCEPTIONAL!

Dr. Boustani has allowed her patient load to grow so large she barely has time to review and discuss with you, your health issues or questions. Her nurse does her best to keep things running smoothly but at times it's long waits and very crowded.

went to see what I thought was a specialist in pulmonary issues, been having some real lung issues. she done a breathing test on me, told me I was fine, didn't talk about my lung issues that I informed her of, said I should see a heart doctor. don't waste your money or time.
