I was referred by the military to her. Unfortunately, for a rather unpleasant issue. Dr. Provost has been nothing but a professional. We tried an in office procedure that unfortunately didn't work and then I just got done with the surgery I needed. I don't want to take away from the great care I've been given by her but I also need to highlight how amazing the staff is to. My wife and I are both military. I needed proper documentation for the surgery recovery time and my wife needed a note to be home for the first few days after my surgery. The staff responded amazingly fast and were exceptionally considerate to the short turnaround for those letters. I thoroughly wish I didn't need the surgery as the recovery has been incredibly painful, however, I feel that I have gotten top of the line care. She was very professional. I did not feel rushed in the least bit. I had to see her because of something that happened to me a year ago that was hard to talk about and she kept everything professional. I just had surgery 2 days ago, and while still exceptionally painful because of the area, I can already tell she did a good job. Also, her staff was wonderful getting me a letter that my command required and a letter for my wife to give her command that excused her for the 2 days after my surgery to take care of me.

This doctor is very rude and off putting. I wish I could give her zero stars. I’ve never been seen by such a narcissistic person in my life!! Was upset because I was not early to her visit. I recently gave birth She kept making comments on the medications that we’re giving to me. She said since I was 2 mins late we would have to rush things along. Literally 2 mins!!!

She is very rude and a narcissist. She was not friendly at all.

Dr. Marie Provost is a disappointment to her field! She shouldn't be a doctor for anyone-- much less disgrace the Baylor Scott & White highly esteemed reputation!!! She was very rude & not friendly at all, with no bedside manner!!! She appeared unconcerned & uncaring about my medical issues during my appointment with her. She continued to interrupt me & brushed-off anything I mentioned as a problem. She rushed our conversation. She took a phone call from another doctor during my visit, who she also treated disrespectfully (if only he could have seen her) by sighing & throwing her hands up as if to to say "hurry along." I could hear everything he was saying to her & it was almost as if the doctor was bothering her with his call, which is how she also treated me as a patient. The whole time I was thinking, doesn't she realize I'm a new patient & I'm seeing her treat the doctor on the call this way? I decided right then that no way was she treating me nor doing surgery on me. The way she acted during my visit told me if I flatlined during surgery, she would say to heck with it & walk out of the room, leaving me for dead. She was a waste of my time & money. Dr Provost is a great doctor and very thorough. She spent a great amount of time during my consult and answered any questions I had without rushing me out. My case is slightly complicated or higher risk but she reviewed everything with me and seems to be very knowledgeable and taking the right steps to help me have a successful surgery and recovery. Great bedside manner and very friendly. Easy surgery scheduling and convenience of preop testing. I was a little worried after reading bad reviews here but after seeing her I honestly don’t know how anyone could have an awful experience with her. I’m glad I gave her a chance without reading too much into the negative things about her. Dr Provost is a great doctor and very thorough. Dr. Provost was an exceptional doctor! She was very thorough and explained things very clear and concise. It’s just too bad she isn’t a primary care doctor.

Dr. Provost performed surgery on me almost 2 years ago. She is a leader and a total professional. She commands the environment around her and expects a lot from her staff, who were total professionals as well. My surgery and recovery couldn't have gone any better. ????????

Dr. Provost and her team are the best in the country!! Dr. Provost made sure that I would hear back from her before going on leave; she's very compassionate and I have a lot of respect for this woman! My partial mastectomy surgery was a success! Praise the Lord!

I encountered her in Denton, Texas and although I am sure she is a fine surgeon she was not personable. I didn’t find her straight forward more rude & narcissistic.

If I could give 0 stars I would! She preformed surgery on me. She is rude and I have called her office 6 times due to increase in pain and not being able to control it. Her nurse told me she was standing right there and would call me back this was at 0930 ... I called 4!! More times after this to see if she was going to call me back. Each time I was told she would. She NEVER called me back. So I called the same day surgery center and told them this. The nurse from the center called her she answered for the nurse and said for me to go to the ER! What?!? I had been calling all day to avoid going to the ER!! So the er doctor called her and she told him not to give me anything for pain and that she will see me in her office in a week and a half!! What,?? So she's not even willing to speak with patients on the phone when they are in pain or see them in her office. But she will send you to the ER then block the ER doctor from helping you. I wouldn't send a death row inmate to this wack job of a doctor and I will be calling the highest person at the hospital to report her unethical ways. The hypocritical oath she must of skipped that.. I wish I would have never let her operate on me! If I could give 0 stars I would! She preformed surgery on me. Dr. Provost us an amazing lady and surgeon. She operated on my husband. I've heard nothing but great reviews. I love the fact she's tough ans straight forward. Highly recommend her.

Doctor had poor bedside manner. Was not friendly. Very arrogant, dismissive and talks down to you. She doesn't listen at all to concerns and bullyish about her own views. I would not use this doctor again. She's moved to Temple TX to work for Scott and White.
